i don't buy from anywhere except these two... i am saying again, research well before buying 2600XT.... see here for reference benches http://www23.tomshardware.com/graphics.html....personally i would have bought 8600GTS regardless of more mem.

ur choice here.
8600gts>2600xt>8600gt.

Not a bad rig dude, I haven't read all posts so excuse me for that.

I'd recommend you spend less on the CPU and put your money into the GPU since thats where the power comes from. E6750 would be great, using it right now, pretty good. Overclock it and it might beat the Q6600 (coz most apps don't use 4 cores :p). But later on the Quad core will smoke the duo's, but thats then.

Not a fan of the those mobo's man, but I'd recommend the Intel one since its "Future Proof"

GPU...Hmm...8800GT? Might wanna wait, don't know.

Bump up the size of the LCD to 19" Wide!

If you're not a storage freak, then settle with a 160GB HDD for now and later on get another one of the same capacity and go Raid-0 :D

Gud Luck!

waiting more isnt an option for me right now , cuz if drop my 8600GT and wait for 8800gt then i may not even get this 8600gt which i am buying :D , as you know asking for a huge amount of money isn't that easy ,:) its currently a once n for all thing for me
