help in getting a car audio player

ok so i went to hall road today and saw these shopkeepers having these same alpine pre's which u know are in stock corollolas company fitted, u know the one with mp3/wma/aac i think something and usb port etc.. is that pre any good ? they were all selling it for 6k each.. thats pretty cheap for an alpline, should i go for that or a pioneer brand new one ? the 2350ug somthing was it for 7200rs..

tell me some more good options too in pioneer etc.. thanks.. my budget is max 8k, i want mp3 in it aswell as an ipod/iphone support if possible.. thanks

I got a kenwood one in one car.and a pioneer one in the other car and a bose system inanother car(way outta the range u specified )
After the bose one the kenwood one is the best.get the new one which has an aux port and a usb port

well i had really bad experiences with kenwood man ! got 2 of em and both got dead one after 3 months and another after 1.5 months lol! first time didnt had warranty and second time around thewarranty card got lost LOL

im more going towards pioneer coz i heard they are dheet lol ! i dont need any fancy mancy stuff just one that will play even scratched cds aswell and doesnt get brreak too soon

i got spare mp3/aac/mp4/divx but it's not from the major brand. it's from malaysia. the brand is AudioVisio, someone told me that it's from china. not fir for my mercedes as i already bought disc changer for it. This leave that player alone in my storage. it also have usb and sd card reader if u didn't want to use CD/DVD on it.

actually i keep my stuff safe i was talking about a relative of mine... i got a sony one it got an internal problem after like 2-3 months got it fixed from the sony service center in WARRANTY and since like lets say 5 yrs its with me haha still running haha

@shah ho nam: well it sounds good but ur in karachi etc shipping waghera ka hassle aur damage and charges etc naa hojaye so its good, ill get something from here plus i believe in brand aswell hehe not that non-brand stuff aint good, my uncle just 2 days ago got the delson chinese brand lcd dvd player from hallroad just 15k ! sweet thing, touch screen lcd and stuff fitted into his honda city..

sound quality is also pretty decent

Don't spend too much on the player alone if you are a die heart fan of music.
Any pioneer player will do good with better speakers, woofer and amp.

@hasanj: yeah thats the red ones im talking about. they have slight different features in em like one has no aux and sd slot while is cheaper to 7k and 9k etc accordingly ! they look pretty sexy too

^ thats exectly i am using, I am not a sound quality freak nor have a passion to put some high end speakers, but this one is running smooth without hassle at my end and i bought it for 7k from Jackson market around 4-5 months ago.

wht was the model number?
most Pioneer ones have both Aux and USB
some have Aux at the back

well its the 2350 model number for 7200rs from hall road and the 4350 model is around 9500rs.. im confused between these two ! what to get

i would say if u want to spend 9.5K Rs on 4350ub its better u spend 1k more and get 4250SD
u get SD Card support + Dot LED Display + Unique 7-Way Control Joystick

or u can remain within ur budget and get 2350ub

This is the best option if you can extend ur budget a bit. You can easily get it for around 10,500 from hall road and even at less (wholesale) price if u know someone there. It has front aux input, usb and direct support for iphone/ipod and SD card support.
