[HELP] i7 3rd Gen Laptop wth AMD/ATI GPU

Does anyone know whether any shop in Lahore is selling i7 3rd Gen Laptop with a decent AMD/ATI GPU???

I have looked around alot and have only found them with nVidia GPU (630M, which is worse than 525M and Thames XT which is codename for 7670, again not a very good one.)

Either HP or Dell is fine with 15.6" or greater screen.

I don't think that they're widely available in the international market either. Another month of wait would be good as most products and 3rd gen notebooks that were show cased in Computex 2012 would be hitting the market in July.

On another note, I have done a bit of research and have been lead to understand that the 3610QM pro is better than the 3612QM pro. Can anyone verify/expand on this?

To be honest if you want a good gaming laptop with ivy processor then go for MSI GT780 with GTX670m and i7 3610QM, 12gb memory , full HD screen and 750GB HDD. And also it has another hdd space for ssd.. It will cost you 1600 dollars and its totally worth the price.. I myself waiting for it to be available again so will order one.

Yea the high-end models usually do come out first, then the dual-core parts, the same is also with the desktop platform. So I'd say, another good month for sure.

You can get a MacBook Pro with a Quad-Core Ivy Bridge CPU + GT 650M GPU. Should be available in a few weeks in Pakistan.

Actually a very good laptop is already available. HP DV7 with i7 3720QM pro, 2TB HDD, 8GB Ram, Beats Audio, Blu-Ray and 2GB nvidia GT650M (A very good card) for 146k. Sadly my budget does not allow me get this one.

I am not looking for Mac. Windows only I am afraid and besides Macs cost too much as compared to win laptops.

Yeah I meant a good laptop considering the price to performance ratio and normal needs. The mid-low end laptops with updated specs come to market very late.

Well I talked to Dell Pakistan and they said the new XPS series with 650m and 3610QM in mid july or end of july.. Specs they told me :

Nvidia 650m

Main specs. Price they said will be above 100k

But XPS are usually more expensive than their Inspiron counterparts with same specs.....

Well laptops with these specs are usually above 100k in Pakistan... Even laptops with 540m are around 120k..

By Dell Pakistan I mean the representatives who handle Pakistan division here.. Didnt go their official outlet since they dont know shit..
For HP Ill ask my friend his mamu is the sole distributor of HP here...

Thing is, I have read alot of benchies, which seem to put the 630M somewhere between the 540 and 550 yet the price on the 630M 2GB with i7 3rd Gen is cheaper like 80 - 90k.
