[HELP] Core i3 540 vs Pentium G620 vs Core i5 661

Hey guy as the above title says it all iam abt to buy one of the above processors so I wanted to know which processor is better in terms of gaming all of these processors are dual cores but the i5 and i3 have hyper threading does hyper threading (does hyper threading really help in gaming ? ) according to the website Anandtech I am not sure that what it says is true or not but here is the link to the results of crysis 1 :http://imageshack.us/a/img19/4607/picwo.png
its says that there is only few fps difference between these processors

Please guy give me replies asap as Iam about to buy one of the processors soon !

go for i3 2100 if u can .otherwise i3 540 is fine for u

definitely go for the i3 2120 or the i3 2100 hyperthreading helps alot in a dual core processor but in a quad core not as much plus your graphics card would be bottlenecked by a i3 540 without a decent overclock

Crysis performance depends a lot more on GPU, but new games also needs CPU power so better to get i3 2120. On the other hand only if your budget is tight, G620 is also very good at gaming.

They comes with different sockets. Make sure you are getting something compatibel with your mobo.
If mobo is socket 1155, you cannot use i3 540 in it and if its 1156, you cannot use G620 therein.

What's your budget? On what resolution you game at? Telling your motherboard model will help us to decide what is good for you. And no, Hyper-Threading does NOT helps in gaming that much. That said, i5 don't feature HT, i7 do. In gaming PC, only high speed memory RAMs (1866 MHz+) benefit from HT technology. 32nm based i3-661 is not better pick in the likes of Sandy Bridge i3 second generation processors.

First of all my budget is 13000 for motherboard and processor so Galaxy has a good asus p7h55mlx board up for sale and iam trying to find a core i3 540 or core i5 661 i have atleast one week to find it otherwise I will have to buy a G620 with an asus P8H61 mle board and please just tell me which is better I don't want to know abt i3 2100 or 2120 since iam on budget just stick to topic ppl !!

I agree with Cerberus. Get the second generation mobo and processor, as honestly in your budged you can only get G620. G620 is a little weaker than i3 but a almost as powerful as expensive highend core2duo. In games, G620 is only 15% less than i3 2120 but half the price.
