[GUIDE] Router Configuration - Connect Communications

as salam u alikum first thanx for a very much useful information i am using connect 4 mbps and i am not getting much speed from piratebay or kickass or any other torrent sites only yify torrents and bakabt's torrents work fine and the maximum speed i am getting is 240 kbps after midnight,i don't know what to do about it ,should i contact connect communication helpline or just let it go

Walikum Salam, Considering the cap they have on torrents you are getting good speeds. now a days connect is a bit slow for HTTP as well. as many people have switched from PTCL EVO to Connect due to limited bandwidth caps.

Nop, this is how it works using router

no such issues here, working absolutely perfect, have tried with two different models of TP Link.
try to connect it directly via LAN CARD. and check pings if its fine or having issues.

I fixed it by changing the mtu from 1400 to 1390.

alright guys i got a prob here plz help my wifi is working fine with the laptop but when i connect it with my cellphone Galaxy note it says obtaining ip and after tht it network disable poor connection its working fine on laptop not working on cell phone i tried on two of dem
the router i use is TP link WR740N plz help

okay so i am just thinking for a good router, and on pg i got one router..

the interface of the router looks something like this.. i asked the user to send me a screen shot

now i personally think that connect connection should work on the router as u see there is the option which we required

need ur thoughts on this

i think connect should work but whats the point in creating "a dair eant ki masjid"?? just go for tp link 740N. its cheap and its good. i have been using it for abt 2 years without any issue. comes with warranty as well.

Is this is just a Router or a Modem+Router which is basically ADSL Modem ?

Bro connect ka masla ye hai configure hojaega sab hojaega but zara sa bhe router k software ne conflict kiya koi to browsing nahi hogi.
isliye kisi or router k bary mai kuch nahi keh sakty Connect bhe iski koi guarantee nahi deta k koi or router chalyga except those jo unho ne khud bataye hain

i m unable to use any VPN on connect, Hotpost/Freegate nothing is working except Sumrando, i cannot browse anything on Freegate/Hotspot, tried "TorProject" but its very slow IMO, so if anyone know any solution to run Freegate/Hotspot on Connect plz let me know Regards.

CORRECTION, its called "external ADSL Modem" not Router

nothing works with Connect, everything from Spotflux/hotSpot to Freegate/TunlR, only Sumrando working on PC and Android but its limited to 1gb mnthly for free users

I am using Spotflux in my Laptop and Nexus 4 with EVO Though.
