Last i checked gtx 960 got launched

it included 2 gb gdddr5 , mfaa , visual ( i cant remember but it is a new maxwell chip thing) the cpu clock is around 1000 MHz and it is maxwell so it can be overclocked no msaa supported and smaa also i think

but recently tek syndicate compared it to the gtx 970 and even two gtx 960 sli cant beat its immence power
this card is avaliable for around 28000 rs in pakistan and cant cut in comparison to r9 280x and r9 290 similarly and moderately priced alternatives

recently there has been a rumour of 960 ti so dont spend on this card just yet in the market and please stop buying gtx 760s they r no match to 280x

also i saw 970 for 43000 rs so its worth to buy it at this price only ( msi and asus strix and evga ) (gigabyte is a little expensive)

just a thread to stop people still buying stuff that aint bang for buck and sucks

p.s stop buying i3 processor that costs 18500 in market and get the i5 2500k instead please its better than this and a little expensive

Agreed the price is a bit high and the VRAM is too low for today's standard of 4 GB :( The 970 is the best bang for budget right now. The card has 4 GB VRAM (3.5 GB of which is freely usable by games, as the last .5 GB has a lower bandwidth and transfer rate). Get it from Canada for 34K tax included lol...

Regarding your comment about i3 processor, I have never seen an i3 processor for 18500 RS in the market. You can get i5 3rd gen new/slightly used in that price.

it was i3 4130 with cooler master 212 cpu cooler (sorry i mentioned the whole price there) ( no need for a cpu cooler with i3 dumb) that he goy for 18000 plus the shopkeeper made him this system so thats why it was insane in price and down to bottom in specs

i would consider amd has nice proceesors that are low in price too
amd vs intel another fight
warranty issues with importing the gpu from abroad man
these cards can spur up trouble when ever they want to
kisi shopkeeper ke sath ristadari nikalo aur aur 40000 rs ka 970 le lo dwayein do ge humain

gtx 960 reviews show very good performance, only more vram is needed to last far 2-3 years.

from the price point the GTX 960 is a great card but I wouldn't recommend as it's only got 2gigs of vram which is rather not enough these days due to high demand of video memory in new games.

Maxwell architecture is 37% efficient then Kepler era Graphics card. It performs same as the GTX 770 when you compare both 1080p. But when you move to the higher resolution GTX 760 has the edge.
