Gpu rusted connectors not allowing display

Salam,
I've been having trouble with my gpu lately. I've recently came to known that if a gpu is having rust, it can prevent display from coming on. The problem is that the yellow connectors which are used to attach the gpu onto the pci-e port has some rust on it. I live near the sea so that's how I've acquired the dust and rust on my gpu. So one day i took my gpu to a computer shop and the guy at first told me that the gpu is fried, so i didn't believe him. The guy then took a cutter and scrapped some of the rust on the connectors and surprisingly the gpu worked. So i came home, full of eager and joy and again my gpu doesn't give any display. Can someone please help me on this issue?
Can my gpu be repaired? Like is there any good computer shop who can fix this issue for a small amount? I can't afford a gpu at this moment and i don't want to buy any.
Please help....

Try to use WD-40 spray. Spray it over a cloth and then use it on the rusty part?

Or just like the shop guy, remove the rust somehow.

yeah thats what they do WD 40 after that put that to dry
i gave my gpu to one of my friend he did the same and the card started working it was giving display fine but i had to downclock the GPU to work for gaming

yeah thats what i faced it too and this simple solutions solved the issue if it doesnt solve i guess Baking GPU in oven will solve the issue

What is risky in it thing which is Gone bad and stopped working what worse can happen you are giving second life to your component
or get a new one leave this one as it is

same was the case i faced i tried to contact my friend whom i handover my gpu he told me not to use WD40 it is conductive i have tried contacting him again he will tell the substance he used to clean off my gpu
though he washed the GPU with that by disassembling gpu fan

okay, do tell me what he used. Does this friend of yours live in Karachi?
If yes, i would like to hand over my gpu to him.

use kerosine oil to clear those pin let it dry and then test
if it still doesnt work open the Cooler and wash the PCB with it let it dry and re test
