[SOLVED] GPU repairing service in Karachi

It's days are counted man, but if it still is running although with artifacts you can try lowering it's core clock by 100mhz and she how it works. If you have messed with memory clock, reset that.

When the artifacts appear the whole system freezes and a restart fixes it or sometimes if i let it be, the game crashes and im back on desktop and the game starts up again fine, it occurs again after 5 or 10 mins in game. Normal use like browsing or watching videos never gives me these artifact freezes.

No everything is on factory. I'll try lowering the core clock. Do you know what the possible cause of artifacts is?

Yes lower the core clock and let's see. Regardless I still think it's gonna die sooner or later

Guys i have sapphire rx 550 4gb pulse i dont game much but recently it has giving me artifacts rarely can be cable problem too it has 3 year warranty on bought around 18 moths ago working like a charm.

How long can i expect to serve me...thx in adv

If its giving the same artifacts on a different pc, get it replaced in warranty asap

I have a dataland rx 570 which just recently stopped giving display and the fans aren't moving either. I am assuming it's dead so are there any GPU repair shops in Karachi where I could get it fixed? If I were to sell the card in it's current state how much would it get sold for?

In my case it was either a cable or game software issue working like a charm now

Btw feeling sorry for those losing hundreds of dollars worth A class gpus.I still dont know why local vendors give so low time on warranty nowadays?

gave my pc to family https://www.pakgamers.com/index.php?threads/my-new-gaming-rig.192004/ and specs have been changed since i got it in past , i7 4770k , 16gb ddr3ram , 850watts psu , z87 mpower max mobo , gtx 980 gigabyte windforce g1 , cpu cooling and corsair chasis , now it reached from karachi to lahore issue is the gpu was not in socket slot 1 when it reached there , there were some scratched but it was working fine when we inserted , but playing game it is not giving any more then 20 fps , did full window update , did nvidia update removed it and did clean nvidia update , installed MSI afterburner and gpuz , the GPU clock is stuck on 135mhz and doesnt increase when playing game only GPUz and Memory clock stays same and rest everything increasing in GPU-z , went to nvidia control panel set it to performance , none work , all cabels are checked , pc working fine , game are playable but not more then 20fps , the game i play are final fantasy 14 and the benchmark u can download from here

the score im getting are 2k on max setting

Do you know what the possible cause of artifacts is?

Artifacts on GPU output is mostly heat related. What are temps on this 1080Ti? I can bet the TIM has dried up or the heatsink is clogged up or the fan is dirty. Either way, a good service and clean should solve it. Open it up and change the thermal paste as well.

Yes it probably was the temps on the memory chips as the main chip stayed near 77 78 on max load. I changed the thermal paste on the main chip and the thermal pads on the memory chips. Been working fine for 6 7 months now.
