My GTX 1060 died on me a week ago. No over voltage or over heating occurred of any sort. I'm trying to find someone who can get this fixed. Suggestions are welcome. Please tag any pg member that might know anything about this. Waiting for your responses. Thanks.

Would you mind sharing when you bought it and which brand? Any sort of overclocking for sake of information. I to have a 1060 and using it for a while now...

I bought this 3 years ago, just at the time of it's release. I overclocked it just this year to +120 on core and +350 on memory and it was very stable. Kept an agressive fan curve and temperatures never exceeded 75°c, never touched the voltage settings either. It was a MSI Gaming X 6gb version.

I would love to get this fixed but I can't seem to find anybody

I have no idea why this thread is marked as solved as I'm unable to find someone who can repair this

I am not sure if you are aware.
But there is no reliable third party repairs when it comes to GPU and Motherboards, Hell, anything with a complex PCB even.

So, the bad news is that...
There isn't any. :/
Since MSI has 2 years warranty and you're on the 3rd year, I believe it is expired.

The best option you have is to buy a new one.

In case of suggestion, feel free to open a new thread :D

Have you managed to get your 1060 to work ? Also what do you mean by dead ? Did it burn ? Does the fan spin but you get no display ? Might be able to help you if you can share more details about its issue. I am fixing gpu's myself and have worked on a burnt 980.

I know this is an old and solved thread but I believe it might provide me in resolving my similar issue. The thing is that I bought MSI 1060 6gb on October, 2018 with 1 year warranty. It turns out that it died in August and well the warranty is already expired. I was gaming on my PC when it eventually turned off and was no longer powering on. So, i tried unplugging the psu from graphic card in which it turned on. Aur mei ne alag jaga se b pc ki testing krai ti jis ye confirm hogaya k my card is dead.

I contacted MSI for gaining their repair service in which they responded that I would be require to send this graphic card to its facility in America. Ab ye mere liye bhaut kharab option nazar aah raha hai kio k shipment and repair charges tu minimum 12k tu lage ge. Phr, the only option available for me is to get this card repaired from the local shop in karachi. Agr aap log ko koi reliable shops pta hai tu please kindly share kio k mere pass ab yey option hai aur i know k is card ko repair krane k chances bhaut kaam hai. Lekin jis type ki abhe gpu ki market chal rahe hai, i cant afford a new card. Waiting for your responses. Thanks.

Contact the silverDrag guy above, however do know that there's a very slim chance of GPU getting successfully repaired and even if it does, it doesn't last very long. I have lost 2 GPUs like this

Aoa guys, im facing some issue with my 1080ti in which the games freeze sometimes with a specific color like brown or green and sometimes like in the pic below, it works for a while before this happens. It varies from 5 mins to 15 or 20 or sometimes an hour even but it does happen at some point. sometimes when the freeze happens, my gpu fans go to full speed and get very loud. Has anybody faced such an issue here, if not can you link me to some expert repair guy like the ayaz person mentioned on this thread? Thanks

It's days are counted man, but if it still is running although with artifacts you can try lowering it's core clock by 100mhz and she how it works. If you have messed with memory clock, reset that.

No everything is on factory. I'll try lowering the core clock. Do you know what the possible cause of artifacts is?
