You guys do realize that this makes Rooney an incredible mercenary. I mean whos to say he never wanted to leave and pulled this stunt to force a bigger contract for himself. If it were a player in the team I supported I wont be too proud of this.

Hmm you are right. A fact is that Rooney is foolish and stupid. He takes out his frustration on everybody around him. He might have done this out of frustration, otherwise who would have decided to change his mind about leaving a club, when just some months ago he declared that he is already at the best club in the world? It might have been a decision out of temporary anger

Player contracts dont just get made within 2 days. It takes months for details of the contract to get finalized. There are thousands of things in the contract and i seriously doubt that they have changed anything in the contract that they have given Rooney in the last 2 days. If its happened so quickly the only reason which comes to mind is that the contract was always there, It was finalized, And maybe Rooney actually DID only want the assurances over the club future. If it was a money issue, I dont think it would've been solved in 2 days.

Anyway, We'll know exactly whats the contract in a few details. But Ferguson said that United have offered Rooney a contract which would be very hard to match anywhere else. Im sure its a good contract which would make him maybe one of the highest paid players in England and im sure there are no changes in the contract in the last 2 days.

I distinctly remember Fergie saying at one point that they'd offer Rooney an incredible hard-to-match offer soon. Well there you go, 2 and 2 right?

Also I know contract renewals take months and Rooney refused to sign one way back on Aug so they couldve come up with a better offer in the 3 months after that no?

Nevertheless, this is all just speculation. Id wait for hard facts before making a judgment.

That was again, only a rumor. Nani was injured since September, hence he did not play. But I never doubted his quality, and I think neither did SAF. Thats because the first time I saw him, he looked like a player similar to Ronaldo (75% Ronaldo's dribbling, 70% shooting, 90% crossing).

I think Nani will play a huge part in taking United to CL success this season.

Nani was never spectacular after he arrived in 07. Nothing even close to the 18mil you guys paid. Until last Jan.

@ tdd... walcott was going sex in the start of this season but arsenal players are too too injury prone.... they need a player like scholes or essien jo training mein saalon ko maar maar ke mard bana de ...... the side is not physical... aur jo physical hain(eboue, diaby, song), they are poor players on the ball..... arsenal have never been able to replace patrick vieira.... biggest loss for arsenal... bigger than henry

I still believe nani needs still lot to learn to stabilize his performances .

I think the prob was that we lost all the invincibles too quickly without experienced and able replacements.

The pay is huge as far as United are concerned But its extremely tiny as compared to what he could have gotten at RMA and City - 250,000 pounds per week! Thats 1 million pound per month, and 12 million pounds per year ^___^!! Totally agreed with the Etoo point. But the problem was that bichara, when he was in Barca he was subject to racist abuse. Bichara, even in Italy, he is subject to racist abuse
But I think he is one of the best strikers of this decade.

Well i LOVE Paul Scholes.. I love it how he just cant tackle but still goes into tackles so confidently and just slams the other person .. His long range passing is unbelievable accurate.. He can spread the ball around the pitch with such ease.. I dont think theres anyone in the world who has the passing accuracy of Paul Scholes.. Gonna be hard to replace him.
