100% right you are sir...I totally agree with u....from atari 2600 to this day I think Last of Us is the most overrated game ever....good gaphics good music and good story does not make a great game....gameplay has to be good too, not just ordinary linear gameplay with shooting mechanics which are not fun at all....lot of people mislead others by saying its survival horror...its not...its just survival action adventure thts it...there is no horror in it...
Resident Evil is among the most overrated game franchises I have come across. Corny storylines lifted right out of B-grade horror movies, cringe-worthy dialogues, lousy jump scares that would only thrill 10 year olds, and worst of all, awful awful gameplay. I can't go back and replay a single RE game because of how crappy the shooting mechanics are in each one of them. There was a time when such archaic game design worked, but not anymore.

Tomb raider 2013 was actually pretty good and underrated.

Started Dead Island 2, and i find it pretty lame. The story is shit. The characters are either cringe or bland (all 6 of them), The gameplay isn't fun. Even the goddamn zombies don't behave like proper zombies. They're all fast & intelligent unlike how zombies are supposed to be like. Any fan of "zombie" genre cannot possibly like this shitfest of a game. Dying Light 2 was million times better than this shit.
