From Where do you buy domain and hosting ?

So it will be my first experience of developing a professional website for a friend. Now i was wondering from where do i buy domain and hosting. I have seen international sites but they require credit cards and such things which i don't have.

So what is the best place to buy a domain and hosting. You experience will be appreciated greatly.

there are many local providers as well, use google but I prefer buying using credit card from the international providers because they are much cheaper as compared to the local ones..however one reliable local hosting provider is nexus.pk, I started PG from start there
