Firefox not repsonding, fixed!

I'm getting this problem of not responding firefox from few days, I tried reinstalling, scanning pc, removing viruses, tuneup pc, defragment, etc..... but it's happening again and again when I open some multiple tabs, it hangs after some seconds and I have to close it forcely

pls explain further as the information you give does not give sufficient clues. kindly elaborate what sort of Error mssg are u facing? browser version ... screenshot any?

mine also freezes for 20 to 30 seconds when opening a new tab but after that it works fine.

I updated to latest version and it's not happening today, but it doesn't mean it won't be happened again so plz kindly don't close this thread so early.

Firefox gives some weird issues sometimes, but updating to the latest version OR un-installing your copy and downloading the latest and reinstalling works out.

I am having issues with FF too.. it's such a resource hog... but can't stop using it for now because of some addons

Firefox freezes for me for 5-10 seconds when I start it, but it works fine after that.

noman3000, maybe you should try closing the unnecessary programs that might be using too much of the RAM. Also, try to see which program is using most of your PC's RAM from the Task Manager. And make sure that you haven't downloaded an add-on that might be causing this problem. Add-ons can be big headaches.

if the fresh install (by fresh install i mean uninstall your current firefox, download the latest version and install it) doesnt work for you guys have a look at this

Problem is fixed, I think latest version doesn't hang that's what I can conclude.
