Every Gears of War now part of Xbox One remaster thanks to backward compatibility

Xbox One remaster Gears of War: Ultimate Edition now includes access to all four Gears of War games from the Xbox 360, thanks to the current-generation Xbox's backward compatibility support.
Microsoft and Gears studio The Coalition announced today that Xbox One owners who purchase Gears of War: Ultimate Edition will also get access to the Xbox 360 versions of Gears of War, Gears of War 2, Gears of War 3 and Gears of War: Judgment. That's a limited time offer, however; Xbox One owners will need to buy the Gears of War: Ultimate Edition between Aug. 25 and Dec. 31, 2015 to get the four Xbox 360 games as a bonus.


Like other Xbox 360 backward compatible games, the four Gears titles will support Xbox One features like Game DVR, screenshots and Snap, Microsoft said in an announcement.
Xbox One owners who are participating in the console's preview program can play the original Gears of War on their consoles today; the title is now supported via backward compatibility. (Chair's Xbox 360 adventure game Shadow Complex will also be supported through backward compatibility, Microsoft said today.)
Microsoft announced Xbox 360 backward compatibility support for Xbox One at this year's E3. The company also officially confirmed Gears of War: Ultimate Edition, a high-definition re-release of Epic Games' first entry in the series, at the show. The Ultimate Edition remaster hits Xbox One on Aug. 25.

Backwards compatibility is working nicely. I played Gears of War. It runs flawless, even the multiplayer is working. Sadly. 60fps multiplayer has spoiled us to the extent that the GOW 30fps was unbareable.

Good news for Xbox1 release.I hope they do same for PC version also . I loved this game but after shifting to PC miss it a lot.

I wish MS had released the PC version of the Series as well. I remember played GOW 1 on PC and was one of the best FPS experiences back in the day.
