Jones' presence is what kept Fellaini quiet in the Everton game (that lead to a win for United). He also played a huge hand in keeping Ronaldo quiet in the RMA game. By quiet, I mean that he man-marked him and frustrated him a lot. Otherwise it could easily have been a 3-1 or so.

I am sad that he got injured. He was really confident in the previous games, flying into crisp tackles, man-marking major players successfully, playing in a variety of positions well and so on. I am sad that this injury would knock that confidence off of him
