and still Hart is better than De Gea bastard critics
Obviously!
Whatever the statistics say, in my eyes, Hart is still the better overall keeper *at the moment*. Hart is still elder than De Gea and almost twice as experienced so it makes sense too.
De Gea is no doubt a great keeper for his age and physique, but he really needs to mass up a bit if he wants to be one of the best. Also, his judgement is often poor. He indeed makes excellent saves but only a few errors deem costly. Poorly punching the ball away, punching the ball where it needs to be caught, fooling around finding a ground pass instead of a full power cross up ahead (depending on the case) are some of the few I've noticed the past two years leaving his first ten or so games. Furthermore, his communication with his defenders is not on par with Joe Hart. Something VDS used to display with Uniteds defense 2006-2011. I do expect DDG to leave before he can establish such ground, but the language barrier could also be a factor in this, in which case, he's not the perfect guy for United if they ever want to see beyond the EPL.
That said, he has improved tremendously during his stay at United. Lets see how he handles the pressure against a Spanish giant. If I recall correctly, Casillas was about the same age (and physique too) when they last played United. I do expect him to be Spains next
#1 when Casillas finally decides to hang his boots (a long time to go, though). The kid (much like most Spainairds) has a lot of talent and potential.
