Champions League round-up
Barclays Premier League clubs Liverpool and Chelsea were both in action in the Champions League on Tuesday.
Liverpool clinched a place in the knockout stages of the Champions League thanks to a 4-0 victory away to Marseille.
Early first-half goals by Steven Gerrard, following a rebound from his own penalty, and Fernando Torres put the Reds 2-0 ahead after 11 minutes.
Dirk Kuyt made it three just after the break and substitute Ryan Babel added a fourth late on as Liverpool sealed a top-two finish in Group A to qualify out of their pool for the fourth successive year.

Chelsea, already certain of qualification from the group stages, managed a 0-0 draw against Valencia. They have never missed out in six seasons and this is the fifth time they have been winners of their first round group.
The Blues started well with Frank Lampard and Shaun Wright-Phillips carving up the opposition.
But with Andriy Shevchenko withdrawn at half-time, a series of missed opportunities and great saves by Valencia veteran Santiago Canizares punctuated the second period as Claudio Pizarro and Salomon Kalou both saw shots go wide.
