I hope they learn from the terrible campaigns of the last two shooters they set out. No flashlights or lasers this time around ... and God, turn down that sun glare. :mad:

I think it would either be 720p/60 or 1080p/30. 1080p/60 is not possible for 64 players match

DICE would be driven out of this industry if they release BF4 on 1280x720 for NextGen Consoles :tv:

That is not necessary hasan. Look at call of duty on current gen consoles. It is the Most successful game egen though it does not run on HD resolution. Most of the Consoles gamers dont know the technical specs. Cod black ops was really bad on ps3 yet it became the best selling ps3 game of all time.

If ur gonna release BF4 on NextGen consoles at 1280X720 then what is the point of a NextGen Console?
BF4 will already be on PS3 on 1280X720 resolution

This current Gen almost all games were 1280X720 so its no surprise that COD was on the same resolution aswell

Ps3 version will not run at 60fps and will not support 64 player. Even Bf3 does not run at 720p on ps3. If you run bf3 maxed out on pc at 720p at 60fps with 64 players and compare it with ps3, u will see a significant amount of difference. Its a vastly superior experience

I have played both Cod and BF3! but I still say BF3 Looks WAAAAAAAAAAAAY better than COD BO2 even in 800x600 ( I tried running it ) , and BF3 is meant to be played 64 player with ultra settings bro , feel the difference :p

Some believable BF4 rumors:

Leaked Battlefield 4 details:

This info comes from the same source who was the first to leak the Battlefield 4 artwork / teaser, and who was also spot on about EA releasing a teaser trailer. So we’re pretty confident in this information.


  • Battlefield 4 will stick with 64 players. Maps are larger and more detailed.
  • Three factions: US, Russia, and an unnamed “Eastern/Asian” faction.
  • 4 classes with “additional features and tweaks” compared to BF3
  • Shipping with same amount of maps as BF3, there are plans for lots of DLC.
  • DLC is already in planning stages.
  • Battlefield 4 Premium will be available on day one and include some perks.
  • Most of the guns and vehicles from BF3 will return.
  • More squad features.
  • Commander feature returns, but won’t be the same as in BF2
  • Battlefield 4 is coming out on both current and next gen systems, and PC as well.
  • Game is more of an evolution rather than revolution of the series. Both technically and gameplay wise.
  • Will ship with more game modes than BF3
  • Will ship with more close quarter infantry maps than BF3
  • Frostbite 2 engine is pushed further in BF4. Better effects, higher res textures, more detailed game worlds, etc.
  • BF3 will still be supported after Battlefield 4 launches.
  • There is plan of some sort of integration between BF3 and BF4. Could be Battlelog-only.
  • Battlelog will be updated for Battlefield 4 with more social features and more detailed stats.
  • Single-player and co-op will return, new writers involved this time.

Its gonna be interesting to see whether people here still call this a 'true' next-gen game or not, provided that this info is true.
