Digital Foundry analysis of the brief 30 seconds Switcher 3 trailer.

Docked dynamic resolution can drop as low as 500p (enjoy playing that on a 50 inch TV).

At this rate I won't be surprised if portable is dynamic as well.

Remarkably though, from the small amount of footage seen so far, native 720p is a surprisingly common result from pixel counting tests.

Given the complexity of the game and Switch's mobile-orientated hardware, first impressions still suggest an impressive technical feat

If the frame rate holds up to console level performance, this is a lock for the best case of Switch's capabilities.

I mean.. if you cut back enough things, any game can run reasonably on any hardware. You could probably run this on the 360/PS3 if you make enough cut-backs

Drops to 500p, no AO, low shadows, low world detail equivalent to PC Low or maybe worse and we don't even have a proper idea of the performance outside of curated 30 second cuts.

Sure, if they take out the guts, Red Engine 2 can probably work in some capacity on Switch too.

Xbox and Cyberpunk 2077 won the battle for media coverage at E3 2019

Xbox emerged from E3 2019 as the most talked about platform holder, according to data on media coverage from ICO Partners, and CD Projekt Red's Cyberpunk 2077 was the most widely discussed game in the press.

That memorable moment was, of course, connected to CD Projekt Red's Cyberpunk 2077, which was one of the focal points of the Xbox briefing. It was also mentioned in more articles than any other game at E3, finishing comfortably ahead of the remake of Final Fantasy VII.

Nintendo had a half hour stream and sony had nothing ... what other console maker was at E3 ?

Stadia did their thing before E3 too.

They're tracking media coverage. And Xbox wasn't the "only" console being covered.

The real non-shocker is Cyberpunk 2077 winning E3 yet again. Can't recall Deus-Ex Human Revolution or Mankind Divided having such an impact (sm1)
