I owned a PS3 as long as I owned a 360 last gen and have been a Pro owner for a year and a half now. Hell, I even have a gaming PC now, time to get with the timesHah! Well, I remember our @Chandoo here being a die-hard X360 fan and a PS critic. I think @TheGoldenTouch was primarily an X360 gamer as well. Those were good days with all the rivalry and fun.

A batch of retail listings from Walmart Canada may have outed a couple of E3 surprises, including unannounced games like a new Splinter Cell, Rage 2, Lego DC Villains, Gears of War 5, a new Assassin’s Creed and Just Cause 4.
Some of the placeholder listings, via Wario64 on Twitter, which include announced games like Tom Clancy’s The Division 2, Beyond Good and Evil 2, The Last of Us 2 and Final Fantasy 7 Remake, appear legitimate. Others — “Forza Horizons 5” — look inaccurate (2016’s Forza Horizon 3 is the most recent entry in that franchise). Other listed titles, likeBorderlands 3 and Destiny Comet, a frequently used codename for major expansions for Destiny games, are expected to be officially announced soon. “Dragon Quest 2” is listed, which is likely a placeholder for Dragon Quest Builders 2.

There are good and bad ways to respond to a leak, and it looks as if Bethesda has decided to take the higher route with its public response to Walmart’s listing of what might be one of its upcoming games.
Rage was a first-person shooter from id Software that came out in 2011 to middling reviews, and led to John Carmack apologizing for the game in a 2012 QuakeCon keynote. That seemed to be the end of Rage’s story, until Walmart Canada posted a listing for Rage 2, which is not yet officially announced.
The official Rage Twitter account later tweeted the following image:

The companies ‘New video game releases page’ has just accidentally shown a bunch of unannounced games which we believe will be announced at E3.
One Twitter user managed to grab a screenshot of the mistake before it was taken down.
The unannounced games are as follows:
Retailers and shops are made aware of releases before they are announced so they have enough time to prepare for the releases. This leak could be the first big announcements ruined for many gaming companies.
It also confirms that there will be an Assassin’s Creed release which has been rumoured before now.
These are some of the biggest leaks that we have seen so far this year.

RAGE is one of those perfect examples of games where you can have excellent gameplay mechanics (top-tier gunplay) but still end up with a boring experience overall. Hopefully they can make it relevant again as they did with DOOM.

Rage 2 is confirmed. Walmart effed up. But if all these announcements take place during the Xbox presentation, then Xbox is about to have one hell of a presentation.
