Yeah, this is for ppl who are sick of getting "Error Corrupt Data" or just want their downloads done faster

oki'm having a a problem, after settings pc connects to internet fine but ps3 doesn't connects to internet and when remove the proxy from ps3 its connects to the internet. why am i having this problem?

You have to start the PS3 Proxy Server GUI in the "Proxy Settings" tab, there should be a button that says "Start" click the button and your set to go

finally able to download infamous and installed it in ps3 without any errors .... i downloaded infamous 3 times on ps3 every time i got data corrupt error ... and most of the people here know how its like to download 21 gb data on ps3 and how its feel like when u got data corrupt error

ok now i checked with my other pc which has win7-x64 and i worked on it buy why it's not working on my other pc with xp.. i have a same issue with my htc hd7, it doesn't connect with zune but connects on my other pc with win7...

Hmmm... might be a prob with your Win XP, might be a faulty installation or a problem with the registry. I'm not sure and I can't help you with that problem but atleast the GUI started working, feel free to ask for further assistance
About your Win XP, there should be a separate thread somewhere where u can ask about it

A quick uninstall/install of the PS3 Proxy Server GUI will fix that, don't know why it happens but has happened to and others

This is like so amazing. Makes my life 10 times much easier. i used to worry about my ps3 overheating or smthn for keeping it on too long, but this, FRIKIN AWESOME!

what if anyone has wateen connection which does not have static ip?

You can call Wateen and ask them for an IP or you can search online on "how to get a static IP" if u have the right skills that is. Or you can go here and find out your IP address but I'm pretty sure this wont work :/

Actually my friend is using wateen and wants to use this tutorial. He asked from wateen rep about the static ip but he said that wateen doesn't have static ip, it keeps on changing automatically. And there is no way to obtain ip in wateen connection. I thought to ask it here but i think static ip is must for this process.

Yeah it is, but maybe someone has found a way around it. I don't really know, unless someone tells you a way to go around the IP problem your not gonna be able to use this method
