I have been getting these annoying advertisement texts for more than a year now and it's getting really annoying. I need to find a way to deal with this because getting 10 random texts a day is unbearable. I didn't even give my number away ever. Does anybody else gets these texts too?

If you have an Android mobile install the Truemessenger app it has two separate folders for important messages and spam messages. It won't notify you about the spam because it automatically detects. If somehow it detects an important SMS as spam you can remove the number from the spam. It's the best solution I could find because I was pissed off with the daily advertisements on my jazz golden number.

I have blocked almost a 100 numbers but the texts keep coming from different just numbers. Either way this is the most fail advertisement idea ever.Yeah.
I just block those numbers.

The ufone guys offered paid blocking of numbers like we are still in the 1990s. Even they can't stop all at once, they too will do it like I do, blocking one number at a time.

I once gave my Warid number for an ad in newspaper. Since then I receive ~20 messages per day. Previously I used Google Messenger which has the option to block numbers, now I use default Messenger of Oxygen OS which also has block feature.
Remember if you uninstall the Google Messenger app your blocked number's list will be lost and there is no way to recover that as far as I know.

I used to get quite many ad messages but now i use Textra as my SMS replacement app and i continuously blacklisted those numbers and now i get i guess only 1-2 spam messages in a week.

Freaking annoying man, almost every person who gave his number in these local pakistani websites like homeshopping, shitshopping, daraz and couple other baby shopping sites is now suffering from these loads and loads of spam messages, i tried to find apps but no luck in IOS if anyone knows please share, though you can block a number in IOS but can't block messages that have name .. guys please if you have any app/way to block this spam please share.
It is available in Pakistan. I have it on 3 home phones.
It used to integrate into any messaging app back in the days. But with KitKat, android changed the way it handles SMS so it is now a standalone app. Not as feature rich, actually it is very simple but it keeps the spam away and is worth it in exchange of the features usual apps have.
You can intergrate it if you are rooted and use Xposed.

10 texts a day is a blessing for those of us who have, back when I had my old Telenor number, I had used it for ads on a bunch of different websites, not only did I get spam SMS, but calls as well.
I had to write down my blocked numbers list in a notes app and then block each one individually every time I got a new phone.
