I liked this a lot, and went on doing this on my own laptop.

But from the first step of it, i didnt like the filler and till the end it sucked badly. The weather wasnt good, so the paint didnt dry, it got all messy and after taking off the mask, i ripped off all the paint.
Never ever faced such a bad day while modding any case/laptop in my whole life.

Man you have done a really professional job! It would be nice if u posted also show the material's you used, cuz if somebody tries to do this and messes up it could probably be cuz of using the wrong stuff, i am keen abt which masking tape u used, and which knife to cut the tape straight. Also how did u make the stencil?

@Alighanizad. Tough luck dude. You should always do all the painting on a sunny day. Not necessarily directly in the sun but under some shade. The paint coming off with the masking tape happened to me once too and its very annoying to sand it all smooth and start over.

@Shadow. The paints that I used were the spray can ones. The name of the company for the matte black one was 'BOSNEY'. I prefer bosney's matte black because it truly gives a matte finish unlike others that give you a semigloss finish. The red spray was from Olympia paints. You can use any paint for the colour. You dont need to worry about the finish at this stage because it'll eventually be covered with clear coat which will give you the final finish. Now the clear lacquer that I prefer to use is of the brand 'WIN'. The reason that I prefer it is because it cures well. There must be other brands out there that are better than these and are available in your area but I prefer these because I've used them quite a number of times.
The masking tape was the normal masking tape that you find at the stationers. To cut the tape, I use the normal paper cutter.

@Shadow and Umair Naeem. I'll make a new stencil and take some photos while making it and post them here. Its pretty easy actually.

I know i have to do it in sunny day and all the stuff, but my luck wasnt good that day. It was sunny but got cloudy all of a sudden.

Anyways i did it and here is the pictures of it, its not good becasue the surface got messed up and the filler i was using, wasnt sticking properly so i just sanded it without using filler. Made it really uneven.

For carbon fibre i used a kind of foam that was really hard to find it Pakistan and found it once by coincidence as a junk, but here they use it to put in drawers and under carpets for more grip.

Its the same pattern as carbon fibre.
