MULTI DEVIL MAY CRY - REBOOT with "westernized" Dante OFFICIAL GAMEPLAY VIDEO

Here is the FIRST ACTUAL GAMEPLAY video from the soon to be released "Re-boot" Re-imagining of Dante and Devil May Cry from scratch.

People are Heavily divided between love/hatred of the new re-imagining by new developer NINJA THEORY which takes place
in an Alternate Universe.

Many major game media outlets are calling it a "Westernized Dante" referring to the Loss of the J-RPG Anime look.

Ninja Theory remains an unproven developer. They've released two games in the last seven years ("Kung Fu Chaos" and "Heavenly Sword") and neither were particular worth writing home about. They've got "Enslaved: Odyssey to the West" releasing later this year, and that will be their last game before "DmC." If "Enslaved" fails to impress, as well, staffers at Capcom start tugging at their collars.

Its anyone's guess as to how good or bad the game would be... but to give such a HUGE Franchise name to an unproven developer doesn't seem like the greatest of ideas.

Actually they have confirmed it tht this is a spin off......the real devil may cry series still exists but not in this game....as stupid as this sounds but this dante and this game is based on a parallel universe.....dante in this game will have to face the challenges of demons and the ever changing infrastructure of the parallel universe ......the real dante is still there and they will make another DMC with him in it

look at the RE series and MGS series think of this game as the "Operation racoon city" from the RE series OR "metal gear revengeance " of the Metal gear solid series....

btw even though this is a spinoff......it still sucks ass.......look at the spin offs of MGS series and RE series......orc looks good and mgr looks good if u play it like it was ninja gaiden

but how they messed dante in this game is beyond simple reasoning.......i will not touch this game....i will consider myself dead the day i play this game

The game is set in a parallel universe in the Devil May Cry series.[3] The story tells of a younger Dante and his journey through the fictitious Limbo City. A city that appears calm at first, but transforms into a twisted parody of itself with demons who frequently attempt to kill Dante. Dante will also be fighting against the ever-changing environment of the city as well.​

yes exactly....shah ....treat it ike u would treat mgr and re ocr.....but to be honest atleast those 2 games look much much much better than this one

shah even the gameplay cant lure me towards this game....they actually destroyed my favourite game of all time.....they couldve waited for a year or so and given us the real DMC 5 but they went ahead and created this abomination.....im a shameless graphic Abuses will lead to ban too but the way they changed dante's look ,his weapons the whole concept of the game pisses me off
i know its a spin off but still a disappointment....there are 2 more spinoffs coming but look at them atleast those spin off look worth playing
i remember when i got Dmc 1 .....i was like ....this game... ive never heard of it...but when i saw the first cut scene ...it blew my mind away...the way trish stabs dante with his sword and throws the bike on him and then he takes out ebony and ivory...shoots the hell outta the bike and then takes the sword out and then explains why he didnt die
those were the memories and dont get me started on the gameplay...dmc 1 2 3 4 gameplay,storyline were orgasmic ....even though 4 wasnt the best of the series but it was still good...im a DANTE fanboy....there can never be a badass character like dante....his dialogues ...are hilarious....one moment he looks like he's almost dead and the bad guys have won...the next moment he springs up and kicks the shit outta everyone....his appearance was awesome...his weapons were awesome....

it may seem odd tht im saying this much good about the DMC series (apart from this game).....but its the best game for me to date.....take my ps3 away ...take my pc away...gimme a ps2 and ps1 ...gimme DMC 1 2 3 ill play them over and over again and never get bored....they were a part of my childhood

Not a big fan of the DMC series, but I still find this game offensive. Still, its in its development stage, and the conceptualization could radically change.

@ashhad You are not the only hater. A lot of people, including me, are pissed off because of the way they altered everything about DMC. If they didn't want Dante as the lead character, we always had Nero. But since all seems lost at this point; game play could be the only slight saving grace of this game.

Awww yeah! Really excited for the HD Collection, I'll get to play DMC 1 & 3 all over again. And finally have a chance of playing DMC 2, I didn't play it back when I had my PS2 which I still regret. I remember running around everywhere trying to find a DMC 2 CD but the game was freakin extinct or some shit but finally I'll be able to play DMC 2 and complete the entire experience

Nah its direct from the source... and the reason is: First MGC Game not developed by a Jap Studio... and in fact by a Cambridge, England based studio...
Also an older source in an interview said that Ninja Theory were re-designing to give less of a J-RPG look and more of a Dirty, Gritty, Hardened Look.
