Daraz - the f****en fraud expert

So, another victim of Daraz.Pk is here to narrate his story.
I placed my Order on June 26, 2018 for TCL 65 C2, which was confirmed and paid.
Daraz got the payment on June 27, 2018.
I kept following the order on June 30, 2018 i was told to get the order on July 02, 2018. In evening of July 01, 2018, i got message of cancelling order.
Today, when i asked them to provide the reasons, it was vendors do not have stock. I asked them to refund my money they told me it would require 10 working days, thereby, meaning 15 calendar days.

I know many of us faced same situation however could not raise the issue by a reason or another, i know i have been ripped of but atleast we can save the others from same situation by following:

1. Start a #boycott Daraz.pk compagin to force them to improve their customer service
2. Before placement of order, ensure product availability from daraz.pk
3. Cash on delivery service

i never ever buy expensive and specially electronic products from online shopping. be it daraz or any other website
There is now way you can check if they dispatched you the faulty item, returned item from another customer or even a display item.

One person even got a fake memory card from daraz (here on PG).

i only buy small items which are on discount, PS4 games, etc. nothing much.

I've had issues in those two but given their nature.
Its kind of replacable.
My last issue took like 10 days to resolve unfortunately.


Its better not to use the online sites unless its for light weight items with no huge value.


Just stay classy and go to stores, i'm sure you miss those sweet talks trying to get you to buy the products at the market.

I always order cash on delivery. Recently I ordered Mi band 3 but I have no idea where it is or if it will even arrive. Agar agaya to paisa da Dunga warna jaib bachat hogi.Cash on delivery is the safest option.

i ordered a ps4 from them sent me region 3 instead of 2 but thankfully after a month full refund i got back after returning product and got money back via easypaisa although paid them via credit card.

Bro you will get your money back, but it will take time. You have just booked your order 5 days ago.

As per my experience, you should get your money back around 11 July. If you choose to receive credit on daraz instead to buy something else then it will definitely reduce the refund time by a week.

There are two phases to refund, 1. Daraz takes time to assess your case and a decision is made to proceed with refund (takes about 4-5 working days). 2. Daraz refunds amount to your bank and takes about 8-9 working days for amount to credit.

I have ordered many items from daraz, so far two bad experiences, once I got counterfeit, second time I got wrong item, both times amount was refunded without question. Although I had to be patient and wait about 10-12 days for the whole refund process.

BTW just tonight after midnight, i saw The Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 ( which is actually the Redmi 5 Plus here in PAK) and not the Redmi Note 5 PRO, which i earlier had mistaken it for, As Daraz.pk nearly had me fooled. They are even using image of NOTE 5 PRO in item description to fool other customers, which is pretty bad!

I am in UAE, and even here it takes at least ONE WEEK to get your refund, so 10 days seems pretty standard. Besides, you haven't waited for mentioned 10 days before calling them fraud. Not saying Daraz has handled the situation better, but this is a common instance in such websites, where the website says the stock is available but the actual supplier is out of stock. So it's basically a mistake from the supplier part. Since i'm not a legal expert, i can't say who is responsible, but customers are also to be blamed for being impatient. (Can't say I didn't react the same way when i was in similar situation :laugh1: )

I'm buying from Daraz and so far my experience is great with them. Especially giving frequent discounts as I bought 128GB oneplus 5T in 65,000 when it was sold for 80k and it's running great.

they had an item on sale instock, he purchased paid via credit or debit card. now they say not instock and have put him on hold for the refund. fraud this is. if the item is not in stock they should had put that as is. now the customer has to go through bizarre hold time and other sh*t procedure

ps: im sure they have rating system on daraz. rate the store that sold you this as accordingly

this has happened to me on Amazon as well with 3rd party sellers. they sometimes don't update their stock quantities. ps it would have been a scam if they had not returned his money. this is just a management problem. they need to keep the 3rd party sellers in check

so my brother ordered some shirts and jeans from daraz.
got the first parcel right.
next he ordered a pair of 5 polo shirts and got 5 underwears instead

he is in coordination with daraz for rectification of the issue

once i ordered some seeds from Daraz, but they did not sent them. fortunately i choose cash on delivery so didnt had to go through any hassle, other things i ordered arrived fine without problems

bhai since there is no accountability they do what ever they like.

like others i order small stuff from Daraz as well dont buy the big stuff from them.

they ship damaged products and when you give them feedback they hide it on the website.

thats the real issue ...when the seller has no fear of any accountability its bound to happen.....
