30fps sucks, animation priority is irrelevant. (Not the case here anyway lol)

I mean, it comes down to animation priority + the rendering latency. Anything below 100ms is considered good for a 30fps game. Probably the case with Forza Horizon and Horizon FW. Horizon ZD was also reasonably responsive at 30fps. Only played Cyberpunk 2077 at 60fps, so have no idea how it plays at 30fps
Forza Horizon's controller polling rate was described as "unusually high" by DF. Without knowing the actual figures, what they find "responsive" might not be "reasonably" responsive enough for others
I agree. To justify a 30fps hit, RT mode should've been lighting+reflections. CPU cost is a factor too. But clearly the hardware isn't there to handle it, especially without DLSS.
True, developer thoda competent hota, who didn't spend the better part of the year fixing the game, maybe the RT mode could have been 4K/30.
But as it stands, the performance increase seems to be solid going by DF and that elemeno youtube video, so that seems like the smarter choice.

Time to accept that most of the team has been busy on the expansions and current gen consoles aren't cut out for huge RT upgrades

So i just found out that f***ing s***bag Microsoft shut down Arkane Studio (makers of the brilliant Dishonored series) and Tango Gameworks (makers of the iconic The Evil Within series), among some other studios. Started Dead Island 2, and i find it pretty lame. The story is shit. The characters are either cringe or bland (all 6 of them), The gameplay isn't fun. Even the goddamn zombies don't behave like proper zombies. They're all fast & intelligent unlike how zombies are supposed to be like. Any fan of "zombie" genre cannot possibly like this shitfest of a game. Dying Light 2 was million times better than this shit.
