MULTI Crytek announces "New CRYENGINE" (Video inside)

No offense but CryEngine is Daddy of all, Frostbite doesn't comes near it. Never the less Frostbite is also an awesome Gaming Engine but CryEngine and Unreal Engine are above of all Gaming Engines.

Even though Crysis 3 was just okay but man its Graphics totally blew me away, that much detail in Graphics no doubt shows a bright Future for PC Games and Gamers.

No offense but Crytek doesn't knows how to develop an engine for games; this company only knows how to release a resource-hog and then brag about it. The level of detail demonstrated in Crysis 3 isn't mind-boggling and can be rendered at relatively much less demanding scenarios; optimization matters.

You insult Unreal and Frostbite engines by comparing them to garbage(s) released by Crytek.

which hardly take 5-10 FPS compare to vanilla game , where if non-programmer person like me can make such beauty from simple ENB then crytek should die in misery for there monster like engine which just made to promote high end card . As what they do is to just throw there uncompressed texture along with shit load of vertex in mesh on the face of gamers , to die with your current rig or buy high end PC components

Crytek just sucks plain and simple, they make resource hungry engines, they can't make a game or write stories worth shit and the art direction is always so mundane that these big fancy engines don't really mean much in the end. Crytek is like a waste of space. :tv:

BF3 (which is based on Frostbite 3 engine) is more visually pleasing then any Crysis game released till date. In fact, BF3 is much better designed game then any Crysis game released till date. BF4 is expected to push the envelope even further. In fact, I can argue that even Battlefield Bad Company 2 is more visually pleasing then any Crysis game released till date.

Crysis games are messed-up in design factor; in certain areas, a Crysis game will look unrivalled; and in others, utter garbage. On the whole, (unnecessarily) resource-hog.

Also, you talk about appeal of CryEngine! How many games have been developed on any version of CryEngine? Not many. In fact, Frostbite 3 engine is being featured in several popular titles; games that actually matter to consumers, and the list will expectedly grow with passage of time.

Agreed but TBH I only liked the graphics of Crysis 3, but now I'm kind of desperate to see what's new in FB3 which will ill soon know when BF4 officially releases. No doubt that the graphics of BF3 and 2 were amazing but like I said everyone has its own perception so Crysis 3 graphics felt more appealing to me, I might be wrong in peoples view but in my case I felt that this is what I was looking for. Now I'm immensely waiting for BF4 and this time my main concern is what's new in its Engine that would make it more appealing.
