Sorry for the crappy pics, I don't have a DSLR anymore :(

Thanks everyone!
@mave3: It was 550 dollars. I think its priced extremely well considering it came with an EK waterblock installed and overclocked. Most other 290's that are OC'ed are at the 600 dollar price point.
now this is sensible purchase
many people here burn their money just to show off that they have got a hardware IST on PG but u got an excellent deal in superb price

and it keeps on coming :)
excellent choice of water cooling stuff ... rigid piping looks super clean waiting for finished look
n interesting choice of casing my friend ... very interesting
lets see how things come up when finished

Thanks bro! I was initially going to buy the sapphire tri-x OC r9 290 when it was around 540 dollars on newegg, but I was in Peru (yes the country, lol) at the time it came in stock and when I got access to the internet it had already been sold out again. and when it did come back in stock again it was like 600 dollars lol.

Yeah I've wanted to give rigid tubing a try, its more work, but in the end it looks sooo much more awesome! I'm going with a black and white theme for this rig.
As for the casing, I wanted to try out something unorthodox in shape, so that's why I went with this :) I just wish i still had my DSLR though :(

So I received my motherboard (ASRock z87 extreme 4) yesterday, and in all the excitement I forgot to take unboxing pics lol.

I've started assembling the system and bending/cutting/routing the acrylic tubes. It's actually alot harder then it seems...lots of measuring (down to the millimeter), heating, and cutting involved. But I'm really impressed with how its turning out so far, definitely better then standard tubing. Here's a pic of the process:
