How to Compress 1 GB data to 10 MB

Hey guys this time i have another very cool trick for you guys. Many times our hard disk runs out of space and we have to delete some data or the other for no reason. Even I used to face the problem sometime back in history and by doing some research on the topic, I actually found a working and an awesome way to save my hard disk space.

Well by this method I converted NFS UNDERGROUND 2 or GTA San Andreas which is somewhat around 2 Gb tb 21 Mb and 4 gb 2 100 mb respectively . And same is the case with everything important I wanted to save.

Let's start

You are just about to know follow these simple steps..
"I used a software named KGB or 7zip and UHARC Archiver" KGB archiver :-
KGB Archiver Is an open source compression tool like 7zip and UHARC with an unbelievably high compression rate .It uses AES-256 encryption (one of the strongest encryption known for man) to encrypt archives . The disappointing thing with KGB Archiver is due to its high compression rate its minimum hardware requirement is high ( recommend processor with 1.5GHz and 256MB of RAM ) and compression and decompression process is time consuming.

I have tried UHARC myself. Better than others but can't verify the claim of 1gb 》 10 mb... thats hardly possible..
It mostly depends on the file types. If the files are picture or documents then around 80% compression is possible. The percentage is less for videos and software setups.

UHARC compression is very good, i remember pirated games cds used this compression method to compress large games into one cd.

I have use KGB long ago and it requires alot of time to Compress and decompress that item
and VIDEOS doesnt get much compression Softwares Setups documents and files gets compressed alot
the more smaller size the more time it will take

And 1.5GHz and 256MB are not considered powerful for I reckon 4-5 years (even more).

KGB is surely very good for compression, so is UHARC and 7-zip.But they have computational limitations. Your result cannot be achieved unless there is magic involved.

Will try this. I'm wondering about the Weissman score as well BTW, video compression is the real deal. Us ka kya chakar hai is mein?

It can only compress texture files and other data of games. Videos cannot be compressed much. Hence , as an example, The shadow of mordor can be easily compressed into 13 Gb from 35 Gb data compared to wolfenstein which couldnot be done that way. Reason simply was due to higher number of videos in that game.

@gow3 for videos compression try handbrake, without losing quality using handbrake ... it is only texture files and other data of games :wink2:
