Ok so first of all, this has nothing to do with IAMEXTREME or anything....The thought just came to my mind and i thought ill ask how many people would actually be interested in this idea. Lets say you want to buy a component for example GTX 580 which at the moment costs 44000 but you do not have enough cash to pay altogether. Would you still be interested in buying if the same card can be financed to you by an Islamic Bank and you have to pay like 4k a month or less? Same goes with systems. What if you want to buy a high end system that costs 1 lac plus but dont have the cash and bank offers to finance it for you...will you be interested? Take note that i mentioned ISLAMIC bank...so they wont charge interest which is haraam.

Start polling your ideas...as to yes you would...or no you wont and why.
Once again..its just a general concept that came to my mind...nothing to do with IAMX

It is a great idea. But since I don't like staying in debt of someone, I don't think if i'd be using such service.

thats the whole idea...instead of collecting up cash everyday.....and then waiting and waiting every month....it would be easier for people to pay a small amount per month, compared to paying a huge one there n then

This thing is hugely popular in western countries. Hard to think that any Islamic bank would go for such interest free loans... (as it would result in a net loss to the bank)

I dont know how financing really works. In theory it sounds great, paying month by month but I'm not aware of the procedures or how much interest the bank charges etc etc

ammar...the procedure is quite simple usually....bank asks you to pay a fixed amount as down payment upfront when purchasing the product...lets say 10% of the value....then after that, if you want to finance the product for 6 months or 12 months or whatever time period you are comfortable with, you just pay the bank an amount every month...like 3.5k or 4k whatever until that time period finishes.

i agree on this point myself. while it would be nice to have high-end components made available i'm not too sure if i'd like to be in debt of someone.

I was so much looking into such opportunity, as I want to buy an i7 rig but it will take 6 months(i.e till december) for me to collect the required amount of cash for my rig. So I would like to have this thing :)

are you 100% sure there will be no interest? if i want to buy something worth 50k rs and the bank buys it for me and then return the money on monthly basis without any interest, how is that going to benefit the bank in anyway?

You reap what you sow. This is what happens when you take away choice from consumers. Even with 88% split going to developers, they can't recoup costs. Meanwhile, Helldivers 2 is a massive hit for Sony thanks in big part to Steam.
