What are in your opinion the most common and biggest gaming issues in Pakistan. The reason for this question is that there we will be looking to collaborate with companies and open up opportunity to partner with some brands to try and resolve some of these issues, so it will be useful if we have an idea of what kinda problems pc gamers face in pak

Lack of AMD cpus and thus supported motherboards as well. Granted AMD only became viable with Ryzen, but competition is always good for the consumer.

Its a niche but smaller form factor motherboards and casings eg mini-ITX aren’t easily available in Pakistan either.

1- Purchasing power of most of the people ......2- Overpriced components, especially GPUs ......3- Load shading, due to which many people switched to laptops, tablets etc....

Some main problems are cheaper intel cpu's, (g3900, G4560, 4600 and 4620) are nowhere to be found locally, lack of choice in motherboards (no asrock, ecs, msi motherboards). Also as others have stated no brand new amd components are available which are competitive with intel as there is no dealer backup for amd in pakistan, only overpriced khepya stuff available.

For me personally is the breadth. I was looking for a dual monitor stand and wished I had brought one to Pakistan. I was under the impression that it should be rather easy to find, but not the case. The ones available were flimsy or the table top kind rather than fix to the table kind. Price is basically not a major issue. In Australia/ UK, the retail prices are not really all that off from here. Sale/ rebate/ offer/street prices are another matter though. Other factor is basically online availability. I am perhaps spoilt that i dont want to go visit an actual store to purchase an item. I have been looking for a DP to HDMI cable online and came up with very few choices (only one).

PC needs understanding and lot of people don't understand them anymore....in old days we used to know every way to get into a game how to tackle an issue how to avoid an error and how to resolve it.. we would go to great heights to solve any type of issue .. but now a days its the "Lazy Generation Syndrome" where they are too used to android and apple crap where people just run by touching the screen if it doesnt run.. its the end of the world.Pc gaming needs alot more than just expensive components it needs awareness and brains which most are lacking.

Apart from the issues listed above, the biggest problem I am facing nowadays is poor internet speed and ping. I have built a new PC, and have finally started building up my steam library. But what discourages me from buying more games is poor internet speed and horrible/inconsistent ping to online servers. I can't play games like DOTA2, CSGO, PUBG, and GTA V, which require updates every other day, and also because I always get above 180ms or so ping. And everyone knows that in online gaming, a 0.18 second disadvantage is huge. I'd come home from office all tired and whatnot, turn on the PC, and there it is; An update of 1 GB or so is waiting.

So if it is possible, please, PLEASE, ask PTCL to improve their service in Nazimabad (I know its a shit area). I would also welcome market penetration from Fiberlink, Stormfiber, and if possible, a good vendor from Connect.net. The local Connect.net vendor is a fraud and cheater (not to mention a huge arsehole).

Number 1: Aik to hum ghareeb uper say prices b ajeeb. Bhai 20-30k ziada pay karna parta hai GPU k lia, especially agar warranty wala chahya. Number 2: Aik to hum ghareeb uper say prices b dollar/euro. Steam nay kuch try kia hai, magar abhi b kafi publishers nae manay. Origin and Blizzard ko to bhool he jao. Number 3: Aik to paisay b ziada magar net b aadha. $40 for 8mb internet with 1mb upload. Laughable.

What Shary mentioned, I don't understand why can't these big ISP providers and companies make a separate VLAN sort of thingy for gamers. I guess it'll lower down the load by a considerable amount giving better ping/speed ? Or is this thing already here? never heard about it.

You reap what you sow. This is what happens when you take away choice from consumers. Even with 88% split going to developers, they can't recoup costs. Meanwhile, Helldivers 2 is a massive hit for Sony thanks in big part to Steam.
