suddenly its battery is sh*t. i mean whenever i turn on GPS and turn it even off completely off

it all started few days back when it was 19 percent and i went to sleep, middle of the night i checked my phone and its battery was ZERO like turned off never turned off before due to low battery been with me 2 years now

now after i charged it it was fine until i turned my gps again on and it started depleting battery like quite fast. only happens after turning gps on after charge etc..

also i noticed this GPSD thingie in the task running and its taking quite some battery life too. how to fix ?

Here's another case of shit I9500.
Me, a friend, my dad and now YOU.

All of us had I9500's, all are experiencing the same problem.

It's time to go now, I honestly don't know how you can bear the lag and the stuttering on that phone (however, you may be on KK, which is okay), but after updating to Lollipop, I9500 has become a steaming pile of horse crap.

The only solution at this point (if you want to keep the phone), is Root + Greenify.

Second solution (the easy way out), buy a new phone.

@murtaza12 well i wouldn't call it sh*t or anything it's with me since 2 years now and it's awesome, my daily usage with it is fine but suddenly this gps problem etc whenever i turn it on and even turn it off the battery suddenly starts to drop at an exponential rate ! and until it dies down just like it was 39 percent last night went to sleep and when about to wake up it was dead, had to charge, never happened before but suddenly happening. no new apps installed etc just this suddenly started to happen and yes im on 4.4.2 kitkat....

does this happen with s6 too ? was thinking of upgrading to that

i happento charge my phone on every third or even fourth day with the usage i got but this daily charging sh*t is too much

i also saw on internet is some kinda linus issue something with the androids on firmware something happening, maybe you can find something out better. im totally clueless with these new smartphones, havent even rooted my phone

Can't say about S6. Never used it.
However since your battery issue is related to GPS, it may be a wakelock issue or another Google Play Services bug.

hmm as long as i dont turn it on and use it after a shutdown and full charge everything is fine and when i do the battery goes bonkers even now it was 70 percent 2 hours ago and now 51 percent... dropping very fsat even though its DAMN SHUT DOWN totally

You can unlock yourself, if you have a Credit card (buy an unlock code).

Or take it to the local phone wala and let him do it.

If you're familiar with flashing, then go ahead.

Otherwise look for a guide.
It's a very simple process to manually install the update.

Make sure you do a factory reset after the update for good performance.

Today i tried to eject the sim jacket of my Htc M8 & wth the pin is going in and inn like freely like there is no jacket lock :O
What shud i do ???
