Can i join Pak Army/Airforce after engineering ?

Aoa,
i'm in the 8th semester of BICSE ( Bachelors Information and Communication Systems Engineering),
i'm a Nustian Cadet and i was thinking whether or not i can apply in the Army
after this degree, i'll be completing it in this August and am aged 22.
so guys am i eligible for applying as an engineer in the army ? or the airforce ?

most probably not , a few years ago there was a system known as DSC [Direct Service Commission ] in which people were able to join army directly at the rank of CAPTAIN after completing bachelors degree with training of 1.5 years at PMA but now that option is not available anymore , better you should try to polish skills in the industry and prove your worth

U can join Army i am sure about it because a teacher of mine who was Msc in physics He was selected and got admitted as Captain.

since nust is an army university and u r nustian, i wud say yes. The best person that can inform u is ur university student counsler. Every university has one so go and ask him. He wud surely help u and inform u abt everything.

I think you will be eligible because your age will be 22 and i think 23 age is allowed. And after engineering joining armed forces is a very good choice.

There used to be an option to join army after Bachelors but now its not there. but you can join after masters.

There was some ad today in the newpaper. U would have to undergo a 6 months training program and then be inducted directly as captain. Take a look at it

I guess it is called short service commission. However, make sure you join army as a technical cadet to get commission as an engineer. It is going to help you a lot.

As you asked about after BSc so here is the eligible information for engineering branch in Air Force:

Nationality: Male Citizen of Pakistan.
Age: 18 to 30 years.
Martial Status: Single/Married.
Training Period: 20 weeks training as Officer Cadets.
Rank: Flying Officer.
Qualification: Minimum 2nd Division from a recognized Pakistani/foreign university in following disciplines:

1) Avionics Engineering.
2) Electronics Engineering.
3) Tele Communication Engineering.

I think we will be fit in Air Force Information technology department but you should ask by calling Air Force.

bhai u can only apply for short course
ur not elligibable for long course

@ ragingflares198: I am not in university, I am doing Fsc- engrr part 2 and i have a plan to apply for Armed Forces for my FSC.
