Playstation Buying ps3 after 12june so some noobie questions

My parents finally agreed on buying me a ps3. I will buy it after 12 june. I started this thread to ask a certain opinion. I will buy Mgs4 for sure and one more game. I will write the names of the games i want to buy but for now i can buy only one out of this list.
1. Heavenly sword
2. Assasins Creed
3. Deveil May Cry 4
4. Ninja Gaiden Sigma
Pls tell me which one is best to buy. I mean which one has best story game play length and etc. My first choice was Heavenly sword but i heard this game is very short. So pls guide me. With the games list i provided u guys may have guessed tht wht kind of games i play. So if u know any other game better than the ones i wrote in list then pls tell me.
Secondly, i read a thread saying something abt new heat sink for ps3. How to recognise ps3 with new heat sink + does it really makes a difference to buy ps3 with new heat sink.
Thirdly, does ps3 in pakistan comes in a sealed pack?
Lastly, Wht shd be the firmware of ps3 when i buy it and does shop keeper show ps3 on tv after u buy it..

Lengthy game. Great game. Awesome game.

Buy GTA IV if you are 18+. Ur PS3 must be sealed, otherwise dont buy. U can download latest firmware thru the internet brothA! The 4 games u mentioned have following features

> Heavenly Sword ( Short but sweet)
> Assassin's Creed ( Plays great, innovative but repetitive)
> DMC 4 ( Too repetitive but overall a nice 1)
> Ninja Gaiden Sigma (gr8 if u can play it, its hard)

Buy GTA IV if u r 18+. Other Ps3 sweeties are Resistance, MotorStorm, Ratchet&Clank, Uncharted. Ofcourse, if haven't played COD4, u r missing too much.

mugen, I'd recommend Uncharted - Drake's Fortune.
And if you're old enough (or don't play games with your parents around) then get GTA4. It's a must play.

i will be 18 on 19th nov. I will play gta 4 but after i ve complete mgs4. 18+ doesnt matter for me and playing games with my parents around doesnt matter cuz i play in my room and yes my As level exams r ending on 12th. No one has given suggestion abt the game i shd buy from the list. Think it as a poll. I dont like FPS so dont suggest me one. Only suggest me games like prince of persia, god of war, Heavenly sword, ninja gaiden and etc.

I would recommend ng sigma out of that list. Good length , best gameplay and cool graphics.
Assassins is gr8 but too repetitive , means no replay value .
Heavenly sword has got bad reviews .
And dont even care about buying dmc

As far as I know, it doesn't really matter as far as the PS3 is concerned.
Though the 40GB SKU is with the 65nm CPU and new heatsink.

GTA4 for sure and i think ur mature enuf to get to the conclusion of buyin a PS3. So from where u r buyin ur console? and till the date ur buyin ur surely get a good deal out of PS3 and latest on hand if the shop own the new lot.

i searched almost every shop in liberty and pace. Currently both the places r selling for Rs30,000(final deal). I still have to visit Hall road. But i phoned all shops except Kiran electronics(cuz they dont give rates on phone). Allmost all other shops at hallroad asked Rs29,000(not final deal) and will reduce more. So ill visit hall road on 12th or 13th and will buy Ps3 the same day. The rates above r for 40gb version. I also saw one 20gb version for Rs18,000 at pace. 60 gb versions is for Rs38,000 and 80gb for Rs42000. Can anyone explain me wht does a seal looks like or show me any pic of seal. And which to buy pal or ntsc. I heard pal can play all region games but ps3 games are not region locked. But in future if pirated games comes then i think pal is the best cuz its all region. Wht do u guys say abt it. The shop keepers said tht u can have region of ur choice. They have both.

Amongst these I would suggest Ninja Gaiden Sigma. However, I have to say that if you have a PS3 then you have to play Uncharted.

There is no need to look for new heatsink as it does not make any difference.

No need to worry about firmware. You can update it if you want to play online or use PSN store. Shopkeeper will show you PS3 on TV after you buy it.
