On behalf of my good friend WajieRaja I'm glad to present to all fellow Pakgamers the Beaconhouse Olympiad 2012.
The drill is pretty similar to the Olympiad we had in Beaconhouse Lahore last year.
The BMI Olympiad is a two day event planned to be held in January 2012. It has been aimed to bring an enjoyable experience to the students of the twin cities and beyond. It promises to host events which are both educational and funtastic. Events like free style football, arm wrestling and tug of war have been aimed to promote sportsmanship while quizzes and Chess are there to test the IQ of the participants. Other events include a gaming event, futsal and basketball matches along with many more.
SO WHAT DOES THIS HAVE TO DO WITH GAMING? The event is going to be well focused on gaming; both on PC and Consoles.
WHAT GAMES WILL BE AVAILABLE AND WHAT ARE THE PARTICIPATION CHARGES?
Call of Duty Modern Warfare on a 5 vs 5 basis - Registration is 1000/- per team
* Registration per person for all the gaming events is 500/-
* Xbox 360 Kinect and Playstation Move charges will be announced on event day
SO WHO'S ORGANIZING THIS WHOLE GIG? The Director of the Olympiad is our own WajieRaja
HOW CAN I HELP? You can help by contributing your consoles/PCs/LCDs for the event.
WHY SHOULD I HELP? The primary reason is simple. Help promote the gaming scene in Pakistan and create awareness about Pakgamers. Apart from that you get goodies!
WHAT INCENTIVES DO I GET BY HELPING OUT AS A PG MEMBER? By contributing you can get a free pass to either the Battle of the Bands Event or free entry in the gaming event.
HOW DO I REGISTER? It's pretty simple. Download the form from HERE and submit it to [email protected]
WHEN DOES THE REGISTRATION END? The registration ends on December 10, 2011. Late registrations will be seldom entertained. So register ASAP!
WHERE: Beaconhouse Margalla Institute, Pitras Bokhari Road, H - 8/4 Islamabad
WHEN : 4,5 February 2012
For more info, visit the BMI Olympiad 2012 Website: http://l3mio.com/ [Pronounced BMIO =D]
