Bios update problem with intel dp35dpm

I was using a c2d e4500 on my dp35dpm and all was fine. then i bought a used q9400 from pakgamers forum and replaced my CPU. all was fine except the bios was not showing the processor model correctly neither it was showing its speed. In windows dxdiag was showing me correct model speed, cache etc. however the temperature in speed fan software at idle 46-56 C my room temperature was around 28 C at that day. I did not applied new thermal paste on that processor so that could be possible reason for the higher temperature or may be the old bios as i never updated it since i bought it in 2007.

So i decided to upgrade the bios. I downloaded the express bios update exe file from

and start that application in windows 7 32 bit. the application asked me to reboot and wait for 3 mints. but after restart my computer never boot again. there was a static " _ " mark on top left corner of screen and nothing was progressing after displaying that sign. after searching on Google i found a method to recover my bios by writing .bio file on cd and booting from that. but it didn't work either. as i didn't had any warranty left. so i took my PC dubai plazza at umer electronics as they are famous for MB repairing in RWP / ISB. but they told me that they don't have bios software file so they are unable to install a fresh bios software on my motherboard. now please tell me what is actually going on. and from where i can find that bios software binary file.

Updating Bios on Intel Motherboards is a real headache ..!

Actually, I was also looking to update the bios of my Intel DP45SG motherboard but encountered alot of consequences so I postponed it :D ... as my motherboard was not in warranty !

brother if you have experience of bios updating then update it yourself otherwise give it to a shopkeeper and he will update bios for you bcz if a problem occur at bios updating then your mobo will go into komma :D

brother the link you mentioned is for MSI board I think, and I have an intel board.

Now i dont need to update my bios, I just want its life back. as now its almost dead for me.:rip: after installing new bios software by MB repair shop my motherboard has lost even its display capability. now its not even showing a single pixle. :crying:

    Consoles were my main platform ever since Atari 2500. But now I think it's not worth it as PC especially with DLSS deliver far smoother performance. AW2 on console didn't even had ray tracing and ran below 30fps. Similar issues plagues DD2 on consoled.

    As per WCCF Tech review, Xbox Series X doesn't even maintain a consistent FPS and sometimes drops into the mid-20fps range. That's unacceptable, tbh.

    Score 1 for game pass. I wouldn't pay full price for this at retail either.

    Just downloaded my first legit digital PC game on GoG at a discount of $8: Two Point Hospital. The same team behind Theme Hospital Two Point Studios now part of Sega. And I am having more fun than most recent AAA games except of course BG3.

    Still, I don't like either Sony or Microsoft as they are focusing more on corporate greed than delighting customers. PC gaming is best of gaming and worth every penny.

    PC Gamer score of 58/100 for Hellblade 2??? Is it really worse than Gollum that was 64/100? Microsoft games can't even come close to high scores of Sony exclusives apparently.

    did you try setting up Google Payments? For UBL you may have to get it enabled for internet transactions, Naya should work without it!
