BF3 error after doing evrything in the guide

i followed every step of the guide present on http://www.pakgamers.com/forums/f75/bf3-updated-installation-guide-110579/
now when i join a server game launches but i get no display... i can hear the sounds like "objective has been taken", planes etc.. but no display.... Reinstalling also didnt help me.. any solutions?

You updated the game completely? And replaced with new file incase you have RU version?

he is my cousin and we both bought the keys from the same person. The only difference between mine and his installation is that I downloaded whole 14.8GB from origin while he followed the guide from the above thread because he has the Clone DVD. So before you post any solutions, remember that he has the clone type installation

Fire up the single player of the game, tell me whether you see the proper main menu, or just "smoke" flying around on the screen.

I had the issue when I did not follow the CJS guide properly. There was a step in which I had to make some registry entry by downloading a file. Check whether you've done the steps correctly, cuz I missed it and whined too lol

then simply give him your BF3 folder, and paste it in his Origin folder. Problem Solved!

yes... origin automatically started the update which was of 4.2gb
