As the title says, what's the best phone I could get in 40K???

Also what's the best phone if I increase my budget to 50K???

Must be new so don't suggest a used one please.

I've had a Nexus 5. Didn't like the battery or the camera or the piece of shit defective microphone.

Loving my Z2 though. I can't imagine getting anything better in 40k. HSN has the LTE one for 40k. Go for it.

You can get a new LG G3, Xperia Z3 Compact or an HTC One M8 all for around 50k. Think about that when you look at people recommending a Z2.

Wanna talk about underperforming cameras? Why did you suggest that piece of shit M8? Which, by the way doesn't record 4K. The battery sucks too. And what exactly do you mean outdated software? It's not like the Z2 is running 2.3.6 or something, the 5.0 update is coming.

And what's so special about the G3? The battery is smaller than the Z2, its slightly bigger than the Z2 (you were the butthurt one complaining about size), and you have to pay extra to get 3GB RAM (which the Z2 already has).

Lastly, what you said about the screen. What's so bad about it? The M8 and Z2 have the same screen resolution and (not that it makes a difference) but the Z2 has 1 more ppi. G3 wont get considered here because its got a higher resolution so the screen will obviously be better.

Don't push the guy to spend money on something stupid like the M8, that he'll probably hate because the camera sucks and when the time comes to sell it, he'll end up having a 20k loss because the M8 has shit resale value.

I've seen the camera reviews of Nexus 5 vs Xperia Z2 and Nexus has better quality in my opinion even though it has lesser MPs

Everybody recommends me Nexus 5 in 40K as they have had good experience with it, maybe you are an exception

The Z2 has a washed out screen with poor viewing angles. Are you seriously one of those who run after PPI? Maybe you are so you're clearly not the right guy to talk about screens here. Colour accuracy, viewing angles, contrast ratio are what matters. M8 has THE BEST LCD screen on any Android phone. Don't believe me? Go read any review for the Z2 and the M8.

Yes we all know how great the resale value on the Sony phones is.

Nexus 5 can be had for 35k for 16GB. It's a killer phone for its price.

Umm.. yes you can. All you have to do is make a backup of the TA partition. But you obviously won't understand any of it because you don't even know what it is. I never said I run after PPI, I just mentioned it in my post.

Secondly, you had nothing to say about the camera of the M8 because you know its crap.

And about the resale? Well if you ever had a Sony phone, you'd know. While your head was stuck up Tim Cook's butthole, you might not have noticed I had 3 Sony phones. All of which had great resale, but on 12th December 2011, I sold an HTC Desire S (which I got from Brightex for 36k), a few months after it's launch the same Desire S, got the highest offer of 8k in the local market and got sold for that amount.

Whereas, my Xperia U (bought for 14k, sold for 11), Xperia Z (bought for 37k, sold for 32) and a relatives Xperia T (bought for 29k, sold for 26). I don't see that MUCH of a loss here. So I really don't know why you're whining.

I had a D820 Nexus 5 and I have the D6503 Xperia Z2. Both boxes had phone and charger. Neither came with earphones.

Sony is pathetic with updates. HTC One M8 is overall a better phone. Legendary design, fantastic screen, one of the quickest running device out there, even with HTC Sense on top. The ability to flash GPE ROM on it and also being able to install HTC-proprietary apps is just icing on the cake. Do I even need to mention how awesome BoomSound speakers are? Z2 doesn't have the best camera in the industry either when compared to iPhone 6/6+, Lumia 830 and Xshot.

Go for a new lg g3, for me its the best smartphone in 40k, But, beware the battery on g3 is not something amazing and u might feel a lag here and there. But, it is one the best smartphones i have bought to date excellent screen, excellent camera and excellent build. Doesn't fell big for a 5.5incher..........For the lag u can use a custom launcher and the phone becomes smoother than butter !!!!!
