get the ASUS one from Shing or Sapphire from whoever is official distributor. I think you can even get XFX from Texon

BTW a single 970 or 390 would be better than 2 960s IMO

I am using R9 390 Gigabyte G1 version and my experience with it so far is great, i tried all latest games with ultra settings and card runs them smooth as silk. Games worth mentioning are

GTA V
Batman: Arkham Knight (mind you its nvidia optimized still runs it on ultra without any issue :tv

The Witcher III

All future games require heavy VRAM, also DX12 these two were the selling points for me to buy AMD, I am not a fanboy i just want best bang for my buck. Go for nvidia if youre prone to that but keep all aspects in your mind before making the

problem is that no offical distributor os sapphire and no 390 available at shing as per their website

and i am totally confused at this time couldnt reach any decision even after selecting asus r9 390 as final choice but i cant
if i choose r9 390 price is 43k then why not i should buy r9 390x sapphire for 45k but if i go for sapphire 390x i need to change my psu which goes out of budget.
if i go for 960 sli then i need 2 x gtx 960 4g g1 gaming only and buying new 1 gpu for 31k is not a good choice bcz imported evga ones are available for 25 k

For smooth gaming and long run, 970 isn't out of budget at all. i suppose it is much better choice. in most games 970 performs similar to 390. but you will not enjoy directx12 privileges fully with NVIDIA. only drawback. However used 390 can be bought around 36-38K from PG. Consider it !

try contacting the official distributors on their numbers to ask for availability (some can be lazy updating on their websites). As far as I know, EaseTec for Gigabyte, Shingtec for ASUS, Texon for XFX/Manli, Astrontech for MSI (I'm not sure about this one), Pakdukkan for ZOTAC

all this thjingy starts when all asus 390 got sold in pg market place as imported ones are easily available for 38k and that price tag was best thats why i choose 390 but no imported one is available .new gigabyte cost 38k but i dont like the 2x cooler thats why i am not going for it

Wait for Sapphire Nitro Version in 390.

Gigabyte easily generate more heat and fans start to spin at 60c temp. Gigabyte has some issues maintaining temperatures. while Nitro wont go beyond 64c at AUTO fan.

yes i will be waiting for nxt week then i willhave to choose anything.personally sapphire is my favt brand in amd gpu but thi time asus 390 has awesome cooler.so if i bought 390 then it will be either sapphire r asus.very rare chances that i might buy 390x from moatsim if i managed to sale my psy in 3.5k and gets new in around 7 to 8 k

Go for r9 390. Heard gigabyte one have some temp issues on 390 so try to go for msi if possible.

I saw a powercolor r9 390 on newegg and its price is very good and coolers are also good. is it worth buying ? I am just worried about the reliability.

I bought XFX r9 290x used a little but it's not good enough for my need 4K 60fps games etc.
So if you want to i might sell it , Excellent condition currently in use from few months.
Perfect for 1080p gaming

well iam getting a new gpu in next week and this time my budget is around 38 to max 40 k
what i have in my mind is asus r9 390 but tell me if there is another thing i can get in this budget remember before you suggest that my psu is thermaltake 600 watts psu with 45 amps on dual 12 v rails.

your psu is okay on the borderline side.
