Battlefield 3 |OT| Got 99 problems, but Call of Duty ain't one!

The AA missiles are mostly useless. Mostly! they do come in handy but nearly every pilot has flares.

They are however good for locking on and annoying the pilots or making them use their flares. That way they are easy target.


The best thing you can do with the AA is learn to keep your aim and movement controls perfect so you can keep hitting a target while moving around.

REMEMBER!

1 - Dont be a hero! If the enemy is in range, so are you!

2 - Dont fire in full bursts if the jet/heli is a bit far away. Keep firing in small bursts, that way you will never have to reload.

3 - Don't shoot all the time. Look at the jets/helis pattern and then decide WHO you are going to engage.

4 - REACTIVE ARMOR and IR SMOKE is the best combination Ive worked out so far.

Nothing is going to save you from air attacks, missiles BUT reactive armor helps a lot if a tank or rpg comes your way, which will happen a lot.


5 - There are more than enough cover points in each map with the AA, learn how to maneuver around them and flank the enemy.


6 - ALWAYS repair if your health gets below 70%... Yes i said 70% . Don't take any chances with the AA.


7 - You can engage jets and helis head on EVEN if they are firing full spread. yup yup. If you move the AA right and keep firing the smoke, you can take out an incoming jet or heli easily.

8 - Make sure there are NO SOFLAMS looking at you, locking at you. SOFLAMS will make you a VERY easy target very quickly.

Well yes that sucks.

Getting to the AA is difficult, way too many people want to ride it.

Most of them just to waste ammo and not contribute to the war effort.

There are however people who are really really good with the AA and I prefer letting them have it rather then hound it myself.


Other than that, the gameplay style and controls of LAV AD and TUNGUSKA are different.

While the LAV is fast and agile, the Tunguska is fat and slow.

But has a good punch and navigates the terrain better, never gets stuck.

in some matches enemy air attack is very strong.no tank can survive from them.while in most of matches team mates keep wasting anti air vehicle by base camping or standing near base.in result enemy tanks move forward freely and capture flags.in this case i keep waiting at base for anti air.although i am not good with it but i do my job of keeping jets and helis engaged.in this way my team can move with tanks.

IF one team has stronger air support or tank support the other team has to chance of survival.

The AA can do its part but at the end you NEED proper air support.

Because sooner or later the enemy infantry and ground vehicles will close in on you.

agreed with going down with team .. if opposite air support is good . then going infantry is good option !! only heli can be a problem .. but using a suppressor can hide u most of the time and use sprint squad specialization . it help u move quick !!

Fe server is open to join .. keep checking for pak players there !! easy way is to add all of the people in PG in ur battlelog list !! no matches is being set right now (as per my info) bcoz .. the players r fixed and match not happen if one of them is not there .. and u know loadshedding etc is a mess !! ... but in night many people r on FE server !!

Compared to that the saudinet servers pings doesnt go above 170ms MAXIMUM! and other parts like Switzerland,Netherlands,Russian federations servers also have much lower ping.
