BOX OFFICE: AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR Has Passed JUSTICE LEAGUE's Worldwide Haul In A Matter Of Days

Well, this is embarrassing. Justice League is already the lowest grossing DCEU movie but now, Avengers: Infinity War has crushed its worldwide total in just a few days of release. Read on for details.

As Mantis would say, Avengers: Infinity War is currently kicking names and taking ass at the worldwide box office with a current haul of over $725 million (expect that figure to increase a little later today).
It's not currently clear how high the Marvel Studios movie will go but it should effortlessly exceed $1 billion this weekend and the sky is definitely the limit, especially as it still hasn't opened in China yet.
However, something many analysts are currently making a point of highlighting is the fact that in a matter of days, Avengers: Infinity War has already topped what Justice League made during its entire run at the worldwide box office. The DC Comics adaptation holds the dubious honour of being the lowest grossing movie set in the DCEU to date with a rather embarrassing haul of $657.9 million.
That was despite the fact that it brought together heroes like Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, The Flash, Aquaman, and Cyborg for the first time on screen but seeing as moviegoers had already seen The Trinity together and were given no reason to care about the rest, it's not hard to see why there was such a difference in terms of box office takings.

After passing the $900 million mark last night, we knew it was only a matter of time before Avengers: Infinity War reached $1B, and sure enough, the Marvel epic has become the fastest film ever to do so...
We knew Marvel's Avengers: Infinity War was on track to becoming the fastest movie ever to hit $1 billion at the worldwide box office, and today the critically-acclaimed superhero adventure has indeed reached that milestone.

The latest figures are in, and the Joe and Anthony Russo-helmed film finished its second Friday with a global total of of $974.5 million. This means that with the movie set to earn around $122 million this weekend from 4,474 North American locations, it will easily push past the $1 billion mark on its eleventh day on general release - something the mighty Star Wars: The Force Awakens only managed on day 12.
Infinity War also gives Marvel Studios its sixth film to amass $1 billion worlwide, including the second most recent MCU installment, Black Panther

Best superhero movie I have seen hands down (Thor Ragnarok close second)

Doing justice to so many characters on screen was difficult but I think they did great

Also..is it bad if I agree with Thanos ? I thought his reasoning were quite logical

I think this is why I like him...he seems more "real" and "grounded"

He's still a MAD TITAN. That's the beauty of his portrayal in the movie. They kept that part of his which is obvious from his plan i.e he still religiously believes what he is doing is right and he is the only one who can do it, only he has the will etc etc. But at the same time, they grounded him and made him more approachable, a being with emotions instead of a plain old evil villain. And that plays with your emotions, which is great.

I'm talking more in context to Hulk, he basically acted like a pussy in front of Thanos. I mean, the guy is supposed to be one of the strongest Avengers and he got Abuses will lead to ban slapped by Thanos. I guess my point is I expected the Hulk to make more of a difference. Saying that, Thor has definitely grown on me, his entrance on the battlefield was so fucking badass

Well, Thanos is supposed to be super strong. And that perfectly served its purpose to showcase how strong of a foe Avengers are facing this time. The movie opens with Two Strongest Avengers completely and easily subdued by Thanos. Now that's a threat. While I wished Hulk came back in the finale, I'm guessing they are saving his big moment for the sequel. Banner and the Hulk persona are gonna get a small arc perhaps and sort things out after which Hulk will smash again, I hope.

I love Thor now. They made him a Badass like he should have been. A proper GOD! That entrance was one of my favorite moments in the film.
