for me its a simple formula, both machines are powerful enough to run a game on 60fps at 1080p and thats what we all want atleast I WANT! now the real battle is between the number of IP's they offer if MS claimed about 15 I am sure sony will anwer it well.

lol it's funny how we are all deciding which one to get. Over here the sales are only gonna be dictated by the console which gets hacked..

The other side of the coin is.. If any console is gonna get hacked this time!

i don't think hacking is going to be possible for consoles this time around...PS4, like PS3, will use some nasty hardware based security measures and xbox one is using account tied game system(similar to any digital distribution model) along with its own hardware based measures. even if there is a slim chance of getting hacked, its going to take years. at this moment the best option for a pirate is to invest in a gaming PC. even for console fans i would suggest a console of choice for those exclusive candy and PC for all the rest.

The 8 GB GDDR5 RAM is gonna give the PS4 a huge jump, especially for Multiplatform Open-World games. I am personally interested to see what will happen to the upcoming next generation Open-World games. The current ones i.e WatchDogs and others won't show much difference IMO since they were built with old dev-kit specs in mind.

If you missed the previous page, Blow commented on how it could end up being a difference of 30/60 fps between both platforms.

Wow .... You go Sony ! :D

However as its been pointed out, it can play negatively for the PS4 if devs start to make games playable with similar experience on both machines ..

If people like Blow are gonna get disappointed THIS early with only one conference, then it may go horribly wrong. The problem with teh gaming industry these days is that no dev is putting a good enough effort to come up with a rich story game. Braid was a complicated masterpiece and this industry can use people like Blow. And not for a blowjob.

Similarly, the company claimed that there was more than 200GB of bandwidth within the system. Again, the number had no context or clarification and if rumors are to be believed, it suggests some rather creative accounting: 68 GB main memory bandwidth, 102GB bandwidth to an embedded SRAM buffer for the GPU, and 30GB bandwidth between the CPU and GPU. While that does add up to 200GB, there are no two parts of the SoC that can communicate with each other at 200 GB/s. The fastest link is believed to be the GPU read performance, which can aggregate across the main memory and SRAM buffer for 170 GB total.

dude you have been living under the rock or what? if you think that hacked consoles are decisive factor behind choosing a console than you gotta wake up.
@DarkLordMalik

you missed my point bro, both machines have powerful enough hardware to support the next gen games besides GDDR5 ram ( to me its a huge advantage over ONE) but thats just one side of the coin. what matters is what they are offering, I for one reason may choose Xbox ( I am lying :p - God forbid .. thooo thoo) based on the IPs they are offering over sony, if sony fail to offer me more than what Xbox is offering.

and I am just giving you a general prospect of a gamer I may be completely wrong too.

lol that's just MS bloating up their stats by adding up bandwidths.

The bandwidth on the X360's eDRAM is 256 GB/s. The console's unified pool of GDDR3 memory, however, only has a bandwidth of 22.4 GB/s. Hence, if we do the math the way MS did, 256 + 22.4 = 278.4 GB/s (which isn't even close to the effective overall bandwidth on the X360's memory). The eDRAM is basically for the output frame buffer.

eDRAM > ESRAM, but since ESRAM is cheaper to manufacture, MS went with it this time around.
