and some other users who are from Pakistan were online 1 hour ago or 3 hours ago or some were playing games online??

did not microsoft banned you??
or are you guys have non modded 360?

i should better check again whether i m banned or not.

lots of people with flashed firmware using live but they will get banned.

dude that banning message didnt show on my 360 when i tried connecting to live...but then again i cudnt connect to live as it gave the normal error of 'this profil can't be signed in' ...ahhhH!! i wanted to downlaod the crackdown DLC

@december 21st....some of the PG users have been online via xbox.com the same way that you did....and that's why they have been reported as online a few hours back....well, atleast that's the case for me....I haven't tried to sign in to XBL ever since the morning of 16th May....the last thing I did was download the free XBLA game 'Aegis Wing'

In the scenario that MS has been tracking us for quite some time, I suppose it's useless to avoid signing in on XBL....they've probably got a database with all the banned console IDs

People on other forums have been trying to figure out some sort of a pattern to this banning since some XBL users have yet to be banned....they're speculating that the consoles that have been modded only once before signing in to XBL and not moddified ever again are safe so far....plus, that one-time mod has to be a stealth mod (ver. 4.2 and onwards for Samsung....not sure for Hitachi)....ofcourse, this is all pure speculation....it's possible that there's a completely different way MS is detecting the modded consoles....but it remains a fact (and mystery) that some people with modded consoles ARE still playing on XBL!

Btw, december 21st....what dvd drive does your console have (hitachi or samsung)?....do you also know what firmware version it is?....and what's your console's manufacturing date?

did u got ur x360 modified out of box and den went on live or u bought x360 went on live and l8r got it flashed coz there is this theory that people who went on live after gettin x360 flashed were not banned its like MS took fingerprint of ur firmware and saved it , so later when they found out ur firmware or fingerprint was changed they banned. SO if you went on live after flashing your fingerprint remained same never changed so not banned.

Well, I tried a gamble a few days back....I said to myself "if i'm banned, i'm banned....there's no stopping it"....so I took the risk and tried connecting to Live....it wouldn't connect....checked the network status and turned out I was already banned....so I suppose my console ID had already been placed in the ban list

Anyways, i'm not exactly disappointed....I rushed to the nearest store and sold my Xbox 360, put in some money and got a 60 GB PS3....amen to that....

@devilcallsmedad....no actually, I realized that to play online i'll have to live with buying original games....and Xbox Live isn't free....so after giving it a long thought, I decided to go for a PS3....I do still prefer the 360 and i'll probably buy a Core version when there's a price drop....whether i'll get it modded depends on the existence of a ban-proof firmware hack

@loveonfire4u....sure, add me up....my PSN ID is CerebralTiger....i've only got one game for now i.e. Resistance....will be looking to get Warhawk when it comes out....btw, is your PS3 the Singapore version or the Hong Kong version?....and have you managed to keep its casing scratch-free?....cuz I noticed it's very scratch-prone and delicate....IMO, the 360 has a much better exterior as far as its durability is concerned

That's going to be one hell of an expensive hobby then, the best thing would be to have a modded console for singleplayer and play the multiplayer games on PC.

I got a a modded us Version console, and today i got some "minerals" and decided to gamble like our fellow PGs. and i was connected to xbox live silver membership which is the free one. i'm tryin to get my hands on a gold membership to see how that goes.

i guess that theory maybe right as i only connected to live after my mod for the first time today.

Anyone any ideas on Gold membership acquisition?

got iXtreme 1.0 and playing on live iXtreme 1.2 is the latest and safe for now more update's will come soon when they feel that ms is going to more extreme measure's, for now iXtreme 1.2 is the way to go
