It means they have opened ur package and recorded customs information of the item like declared value etc . They dispatch the letter same day which u will receive in few days.

Custom duty can be reduced negotiating with officer??
Detention memo will state the imei no for the phone. U will need it to get noc from pta . When u get noc u will have to go to gpo with ur cnic and then u will get to know how much duty they charge

I think you should visit GPO..its been a month i never received my parcel nor any letter from customs and post office ordered a winter hat any solution?

If u visit gpo u will know how slow they work and throw parcels here and there. A guy at gpo told me these guys earn 1.5 lacs a month and dont work much. Sadly we cant do anything but wait.

after taking that much salary they are working like this..its been 18 days since my parcel in pakistan..
sad part is that if i visit GPO they wont give me detention Memo.i am just half an hour away from GPO and they are taking that much time..
The 'Khuwari' Part is still pending when i will have to to Gpo with Noc to releas my parcel...
