About to buy xbox 360....help!

Me planning to buy xbox 360, but dont know which one to buy ( newer model or old ) which version....and so on....

can u guyz guide me please...

For online it depends on your now slim model as about when was it manufactured. The newer drives won't get their new LT+ firmware (which allows you to go online) until about Feb. The older drives are gonna have LT+ soon.
While the old fat models already have LT+ released and its safe to play online on them

Don't worry. 99.9% safe.

rrod - Jasper still has a very low rate of having rrod. Slim models havent had a rrod. Not yet atleast. So its believed that they are rrod free

256mb, 512mb and 4gb (slim only) are nand flash containing 360s.
HDD models include 20gb (go pro, really old), 60gb (go pro, really rare), 120gb (Phat Elite, common enuf), 250gb (Phat Elite, uncommon), 250gb (Slim Elite, Available)

Only consoles that are JTAG can run games from External HDD.

An average game takes anywhere between 4-7 gb in size. You will still need the disc to play the game after using the "install game" feature.

The hard drive. and go pros have no internal memory.
Arcade = 256mb, 512mb
Go Pro has a 60gb HDD +free Headset. (20gb models are not Jaspers)

depends on ur usage. I for one would stick up a 16gb usb drive and then use it as an external memory. 16gb + 512mb built in, even with the system taking in a good 300mb+. would be more than enough for me.

do get a hdd or a usb drive and install your games before playing ... that will keep the lens wear and tear to a minimum otherwise your lens will be dead after 6-8 months of heavy gaming
