A Budget UPS For My PC

Hi Guys, Hope You Are Fit & Fine. As the Summer Has Started & KElectric Showing Its Blessings In Ramzan. I am concern about my PC health! One of my R7 265 GPU was dead back in 2015 due to intense load shedding and I was like playing games all the time no matter how many times a day power goes off along with the system. Now as i am going to buy new GPU, probably Rx 580 so I am thinking buy a UPS as well to keep this baby safe & sound.

So I just need 5-10 min backup for my CPU ( Using TharmalTake SE630Watt PSU ) & a LCD to either shut down my system properly or swtich power to generator.
I know nothing about UPS and asking your recommendation.

Never use your PC or any other electronic sensitive devices on generators (the only generators safe for such equipment are expensive models which convert AC to DC then to AC again)
And for the UPS i will recommend used APC smart UPS 750va 500watt. It costs 5-6k without batteries and 2k for 2x batteries (each 7ah12v).
Been using it for more than 2 years.

Well the one i have was imported frm Japan, its 100v model.
My frd bought same frm karachi, 220v model 750va 500w, and now he has upgraded it to 1000va 670watt.
The onei have, has got 2 7amp 12v batteries, and it provides 50mints of backup in PC while just browsing. If u r doing heavy gaming it will provide as low as 10mints backup, so u still have time to save ur progress and shutdown

go for APC BRAND .. easily available all over in pakistan .. new as well used ... but go for 1.5 kva .. makes 980 watts .. less than this model is always risky due to low capacity n fault problem .. m usin 1.5 kva n so far so good .. u can either use it with internal small batteries for minutes backup n also u can use it for hourly backup by installing two batteries externally local pani wali or dry batteries upto 135 ah ...

Get pure sine wave from a seller here on PG. I have 100 percent satisfaction and haven't seen my PC restart from power outage. Hell, I don't even know these days when power goes out. :laugh1: Pure Sine Wave is the real deal and pretty cheap comparison to commercial 'modified pure sine wave'. Go pure or go square

APC SMART UPS has built-in stabilizer window from 196 volts to 165 volts AC .. so if u r encountering lower voltage or higher voltages from said numbers in ur area thn definitely u need to buy a stabilizer otherwise njoy wid wot u ll get ...
