on the training front i think i have some of the basic akuma links down, will start practicing against players today since its a whole different ball game with real players, the fadc is still giving me problems but it will take just a day or 2

Thank you for the VM bro, that link proved to be pretty helpful. Damn did you see the damage on that thing...i tried doing it well 70/100 is good enough on the first try lols. Went to shoruken.com aswell and found a volley of combos and discussions which are always en lighting

Na Sagat aint dead yet. You just need to put a little more effort now thats all. In SF4 my objective was to make to opponent jump in order to get that trade into ultra however that has toned down to some extent but it hasn't disappeared completely. The other is the standing lk>TS or TK, the two hit thing kinda has made the tiger knee chains hard. Now Sagat has to rely more on medium punch>Tiger knee instead.

I still love Sagat cuz hes a zone freak.Seeing my opponents make mistakes and me punishing them is always a treat.


Dont worry the prodigy will make his return (one day)

Man, don't change your character. Your Dudley is really good. You have learned the combos well. And you keep punishing with the Focus attacks. You just have to do better follow-up moves. Don't simply grab your opponent once you've stunned him. Dudley has fantastic target combos. Try to opt them.

i think you should be more aggressive with dudly and try to create some kinda pressure on our opponent , which reminds me you dont execute any of the dudly combos so learn all of em and mix them up a bit. Learning dudley is kinda difficult but trust me if u stick to it u can kick some serious Ass good games btw today , ur dudly is pretty good , impressed!!

^ GG to u too. And thanks. Yup Dudley is hard really to learn. I picked this character only for it's bomba ultra. Ur combo timing is great. Looking forward to play more matches with u.
Today I practiced almost three hours "uppercut x Ex cancel x ultra" combo. My fingers are hurting now. I can do it only in training mode. LoLs

Yar i always tell this to everyone as my Mentor Once said " Dont learn FADAC right now, concentrate on the basic moves and basic combos" With time the combos are gonna land in time. Also as Muaz said dont simply grab your opponent, Dudley as excellent Grab Range, you can always Duck during a combo and surprise your opponent with a grab . Try seeing some of the Marn Videos on youtube ..see what he does in different situations . Probably the best dudley player around ...just search Marn Dudley in youtube and there will be a volley of videos you can learn from.

That's right. Run with your tail between your legs. Go play Ryu or Ken like the million bajillion other people out there.

You kidding me? I picked Dudley for a few hours and you can easily do any of these after focus attack for lots of damage.
1) LP->MP->LP Uppercut->HP Uppercut
2) HK xx Ducking + P/K

I'm sure there are better ones, but these are just I know after playing him for few hours. Grabbing is never, NEVER a good punish after Focus unless you're playing a character with a command grab.

Yup, the last time I played Fareed's brother it was Sagat vs Balrog and I was very impressed with him.

Ops forgive me. I eat my words. I do grab only coz it require no skill and timing and it's better than one hit failed combo. Even untill now I can only perform one crossup combo ( yeah yeah I m noob I know). Still misses most of the times.
I wish I had a TE.

you are welcome bro, sephi suggested me i should see his videos too before i start out with dudley. Plus you should go to Shoruken.com get yourself registered and learn the most basic combos of dudley along with his links...

Everyone's a noob when they start out. I did Focus->grabs and J+HK,cr+HK for months before I learnt how to play well.
And no, you don't need a TE to play well. I respect you for starting out with an advanced character rather than the same Ryu/Ken/Akuma shit.
This way it'll be easier when you switch to easier characters.
