    infact i was thinking that you got Sensation and didn't tell me but i guess you missed my profile in over excitement...:tv:

    I know there were many myths about Sensation issues ... at time when i was buying ppl were cursing me for not buying GS2 but now you will see in mobile section that they have started to admire HTC mobiles... Sensation is best mobile these days... It's qHD was future proof and GS2 users are realizing that resolution did matter and true colors do matter... Regarding blacks.. Install launcher pro and see the blacks in app drawer... U will know it's good... Sense UI is not black as in its app drawer, it gives grayish tint and ppl think it's black is grayish...:tv:

    Got the phone. Flashing in a bit. ARHD will do for now. Current firmware issome beta 2.3.5.
    Hboot = 1.23

    And screw haters. The display is FINE! Viewing angles are not at all bad. Thank goodness I didn't buy the GS2 or some other phone.

    Good news for you.. I just learned that you can downgrade to 1.23 hboot even if you have 1.27 hboot..that solves the problem of not having GB ROM after updating to latest firmware..:p

    You can check hboot by turning off mobile then turn on by pressing Power + volume down together.. It will take you to bootloader menu where you can see hboot number

    ARHD has 3 roms in his thread..
    One based on sense 3.0 gb 2.3.4( it starts with version 3.x.x)
    Second, based on Sense 3.5 , GB 2.3.5 (starts with 4.x.x)
    Third, based on latest ICS..starts with 6.x.x

    The latest firmware 3.25 ( with hboot 1.27) is already out 4 days back... Thats the one with deadline for GB roms..

    Regarding Radio... I never tried all radios... It makes no difference at all... so latest is best... You don't need to worry about flashing radios, its already included in firmware packages...

    Remember.. Never try to downgrade hboot...

    Sense ICS roms are very stable on Sensation now unlike the Ports you see on other mobiles like Samsung...

    I would say they are bug free now... I flashed ARHD 6.1.0 on my sensation which i gave to my brother... I asked him several times how its going and he never reported any problem..there was one small bug in it but that too is fixed in 6.1.1
    If you don't see users reporting bugs, trust me you won't even find any...

    But for 6.1.1, you might need hboot 1.27 ... So you say bye bye to GB roms then..:tv:
    Inquisition 3.0 is very stable as well apart from they call bug... It will run on even 1.23.. So you can flash that aswell..

    Although GB roms are not as snappy as ICS but If you still insist on stable most GB roms then flash Stock by EddyOS

    By matching Firmware he meant matching hboot... it should be 1.23 or 1.27... Won't work with 1.20 or lower..

    That guy was bullshitting... infact it has 4gb internal memory but only 1gb or less is user available... But don't worry, you can't fill up your internal storage unless you install > 500 apps... You know all appz > 10 mb can nee shifted to memory card and 80% of those less than 10mb are also movable... i can bet you can't fill it's internal memory even if you try best...

    Hmm.. My Sensation too had powder dust under screen but it was too less to be concerned about... I would have never even noticed it if i had not seen that stupid dust under screen thread... It's visible only in direct sunlight... Can't guarantee if it will get worst but mine didn't get worse...

    If he has already flashed hboot 1.23 then you just need to put virtuous ROM in sdcard and flash... Btw.. There is one stupid annoying bug in virtuous.. When you get call, screen doesn't wake up... you have to unlock screen first and then attend call...:tv:. Solution was to install fullscreen caller app or WidgetLocker... Hopefully that will resolve soon...

    Well I already have a sensation in home -don't want another same cell- :p , I know how awesome is it . S2 is too plastic and arc S has only 512 ram :/ ,
    So you like sense ui? :p I might also buy it if a good stable non-sense comes out. BTW how much are you getting it for ?

    Virtuous inquisition is best senseless ROM.. I used it for one week... It's fast smooth and stable but i had to shift to Sense Roms as i love Sense and especially when it got better on ICS...

    Btw... Sensation has become second most popular device on xda... It has beaten Galaxy Nexus...:muscles:

    A quick guide.

    1. Install any Froyo (2.2 or 2.2.1) based ROM.
    2. Root It & Install CWM on it (Use ROM Manager)
    3. Download CyanogenMOD and Flash it. (use the official site to get the latest version)
    4. Download ICS from the link previously given & Flash it.
    5. Wipe Factory Data/Reset, Cache & Dalvik Cache.
    6. Flash FugoMod Kenel.

    You are done.

    For complete set of instructions, well you know how to get 'em.

    If you are worried this one not being an Official ROM, then just make a Nandroid backup of your current ROM and proceed with this one.

    P.S. Dont use Glitch Kernel. It gives a lot of problems. Use FugoMod kernel Instead. The colors are a bit yellowish (only whites appear a bit damped, rest are good), but the overall stability of this kernel is damn impressive.
