  • thank you very much for you advice, its better to upgrade my mobile phone instead of buying psp or a tablet may be around 300$
To be honest, i never really go in any low signal area. Probably because i am a person who stay in house and alone mostly. However, just like you said, it works just fine on open roads, and thats exactly what i want and works for me very good. (However i dont go to much places, but i should mention here that the places where i visit mostly are pretty crowded and known places. And the GPS shows my exact location.
So i dont really think i have any of such problems.
The 3km/h thingy ... i dont have any clue of that because never experienced it.

I also use the Sensor Aiding which annoys me sometimes because it consumes battery at higher rate than i want, 1.5x higher than normal.

Glad to hear you are not SHIFTING towards Nexus One lol :tv:
About Nexus One .... Are you out of your mind or just implying so ? :p
Seriously? Galaxy S TO Nexus S samajh aati hay. But Galaxy S TO Nexus ONE ..... WTF?

If you are so crazy about running CM, then you can also run it on your Galaxy S.

lol you really are acting weired these days :p
Hey! God knows WHAT sort of issues you are getting with your Galaxy S, but i just wanted to ask ... GPS issue was fixed in Galaxy S quite long ago. It was there in some firmwares again, but its certainly solved now. Heck since my update to Froyo, i only got the GPS issue with two or i think three STOCK roms, after that .... It worked just fine. No problems at all.
    ------------------

That OS Bug i mentioned sometime ago, it was also fixed by leaving Darky 10.1 and updating to Ficeto JVP.

You do know that there is NOT ONE FINAL Gingerbread update available yet ANYWHERE in the whole word. And the problems which new firmwares have, are also present in Custom ROMS.
I wont say Anything bad to the firmwares before i see a FINAL Gingerbread release, which is still FAAAAAR away Officially <_<
I, however am expecting something 'better & improved' from his Darky 10.2

Hi can you please tell me which one is better psp or psp go, plus can it be hack able easily.. or now its a good idea to invest on psp go now ??
Are you buying it for your girlfriend? :p

    j/k

I don't have a hands on experience with Mozart. I saw it at the shop but the brick like form factor turned me off. As for Nexus One, It's fully plastic but I can't recall I've used a more sturdy built phone. Fantastic build quality, but that's HTC for you. They make class stuff when it comes to plastic quality and finishing. No loose battery covers, very well built. And I really didn't explore the number of colors on the trackball :p Google it out dude.
Yep, checked GPS in my car during motion. It worked great on google map and a couple of other GPS based apps (for speed, distance, etc).
Takes some 10-20 seconds to sync up with a satellite when out in open or in car, longer inside a building.

ONLY quirk I ran into (and ran into it today) is that 512MB feels EXTREMELY tiny. I need to find some app that can free up some ROM for me.
And I wouldn't advise you to go for a Windows 7 phone yet. That platform needs more time to mature and we don't know if WinMo 8 is around the corner.

Just check your utility levels and get the device that suits you most in the budget you've got :)
(Easier said than done LOL) Why not just get a 3GS?

Hi have u used homeshopping what u bought from there
whats the purchasing procedeure and are they safe to deal like buying mobile phone and from whom to claim warranty e.t.c
and is there any store at karachi from where we can personally pickup
Hey man, check out beliscity. It has two nexus ones. One is "local". Whats the difference? Apart from the price?
Hey i heard 2.3.4 is out w/ Dark Core 2.7
    Is it?

You are registered on Darkys forum. I am not. So kindly head there and see what you find. (sm1)
Cant you see its eating up more battery than Dark Core 2.4 ? I really dont care if the screen is more whitish because apparently, the screen nearly lost its ORIGINALITY in colors. Notice while running a 720p Movie with some good colors. I am sure you'll notice the effect :S

    ---------------

And no i am not using Autostarts. I was, some time ago, but didnt feel the need for it so uninstalled it. For me, it was a reason to trigger that android bug which causes the applications to Loop Start in background.
with dark core 2.6, did you notice the brightness even when turned off ( i mean at lowest level) its still considerably high?
I dont think its just me because i can FEEL the brightness is higher than usual even when i have the slider set to lowest level, and no Auto.
