Microsoft has been looking to acquire Nintendo for a while now. Phil Spencer considers it "THE asset in gaming". He tried to talk to the higher ups at Nintendo but had no success. He has since been in contact with a former Microsoft Board of Director (ValueAct), which has been buying Nintendo stock worth $1.1 billion. Phil believes that, as a shareholder, ValueAct can put pressure on Nintendo to increase market growth, and he thinks that could create an opportunity for MS to acquire Nintendo.

Phil says that acquiring Nintendo at some point would be a career moment for him, and that it would benefit both companies. He said that it's just taking Nintendo a long time to see that its future exists off of its own hardware.

I never thought I'd see a take even worse than the ones Necrokiller comes up with, but Phil Spencer wins :ROFLMAO:

MS is now a trillion dollar company and Nintendo well.......🤷‍♂️

Nintendo is still important to the industry though because who else is making games for kids? Not many publishers 🤷‍♂️🤣

I think MS needs to nintendo let it be ow it will be end of nintendo console line up and there is no need for it MS has 100+ studios working for its games and it can license nintendo title much cheaper any ways...

    So i just found out that f***ing s***bag Microsoft shut down Arkane Studio (makers of the brilliant Dishonored series) and Tango Gameworks (makers of the iconic The Evil Within series), among some other studios.     Started Dead Island 2, and i find it pretty lame. The story is shit. The characters are either cringe or bland (all 6 of them), The gameplay isn't fun. Even the goddamn zombies don't behave like proper zombies. They're all fast & intelligent unlike how zombies are supposed to be like. Any fan of "zombie" genre cannot possibly like this shitfest of a game. Dying Light 2 was million times better than this shit.
